Wow, Harry's worth 5 bilion! If i was that rich i'd just buy the club to be honest, fire the board and get some independent directors and pour money into it

That's not Harry's way at all, I'm an old Balmain fan but back in 1997 no one wanted to touch the whole Balmain brand but Harry despite being forecast as *something else* put his 'short hands' into his long pockets and helped resseurrect what we know today.
I don't care what all the doomsayers come up with, we need Harry more than he needs us, Harry loves the Brand and without Harry we are headed for oblivion, I used to love Benny ,Elias but then again!…........

Why isn't that harry's way? Kinda of like rusty, buying his beloved club when they're short a lotta cash rebuilding them and becoming a force in the NRL.

Not saying that's what he SHOULD do considering we're going to the partially independent structure, which might be better in terms of protecting our heritage and the like and to keep more in touch with the fan base as opposed to a completely beauracratic management.

But, if i was a billionaire i'd definitely pour money into the tigers and the NRL and obviously to charity. Can't possibly need so much.

It is interesting to read all Harry's rhetoric about how great the future looks, the kids coming through, the coach, the board etc ….... But he's only signed on for one year. Why wouldn't he do what Mayer did with ANZ and sign on for ten years if he really believed the future was that good ?

How about the current owners, why should we sell and part with our heritage?

And whos interest and identity will the independent directors push for.

Dosent really sound like a Wests Tigers to me.

We already have owners we needed a sponsor,

Surely the membership department could hire a fre temps for the busy periods (i.e. when the memberships are first released, lead-up to Xmas, February)? The issues are frustrating for rusted-on supporters on this forum, imagine what a first time member thinks. Not much point doing a marketing campaign if this is your follow-up.

Thats called being professional and pro-active Yoss.
I don't blame the staff as they are only doing their job the best they can.
The buck stops with management.

Agree 100%. They need help at peak times but understandably the club doesn't people sitting around doing squat for long periods. Seems like an obvious solution to me…

Yes indeed … Very obvious !

These things are always obvious to people on the outside. We have had weeks to work out what we want and to make enquiries etc. we can't expect to have someone answer the call immediately every time we want something. Expectations are unrealistic and too high.

If Harry is putting in $1 million after the year we've just had, I open my arms and say "thanks Harry, welcome back for another round".

I've had enough of the "Herbal Life" and "Radisson Maine" sponsorship years. I don't care if Uncle Harry is doing it for love or money or value or guilt or whatever - a thousand gorillas is a lot of cash.
