I am more impressed with Miller after 3 top grade games (I'm not even going to consider his games under the previous coach), than I was with Lui after his first 3 games. He is very confident, has a great footballing brain and when he and his team mates settle into the new structures, he'll get even better.

Providing we keep Brooks in contract. Otherwise some other team will swoop in on a great halfback and all the time and effort Wests Tigers have invested into him.

Saw Brooks last night, looks like Johns,plays like Johns. I would say best kicking gme in the club, one line drop out went well over the 1/2 way and Parra had to cart it back from the 30m some 70 yards out. In saying that, he is playing in the u20s and Miller is a veteran of 4 years in the 20s and is coming along nicely in the top grade.

I think for now I would keep things as they are, but gee we are in a healthy position with our no7s for the first time in years

I'm a massive Brooks fan. I reckon Friday was the quietest game I've seen him play and he was still very good

Jesus, the kid gets his first real opportunity to stake his claim for the #7 jersey, he's two wins from three and there's some death riding him still? He's had what, less than a dozen games in the NRL? Not all halves that waltz into the game will be Joey Johns from the start.

He looked to improve dramatically against the river snakes because he was actually allowed to play at first receiver. This trust will grow like it did for Lui and hopefully he makes a fist of it just like Lui did.
