Million Dollar Ratings and Talkin Sport

On Talkin Sport this afternoon they had the guy who runs the million dollar ratings site - he researches all info, lineups, likely squads etc for all NRL teams and then rates their chances. In 2010 he was one of the few judges who thought WT would be a premiership threat. Today he said that WT were the team to beat in 2011 - he rates them as No 1 along with rorters and souffs ( if Inglis plays ) but said WT were more solid than the other 2\. His E Book with all ratings will be available to download free on the Talkin Sport site next week.

Also said that Sheens told him Tuiaki is back and will play right wing.

Sheens… Says a lit of things though.

Yea - i forgot about the Staks - thanks - also the way he talked he considered Moltzen a certainty as half and had done his ratings along those lines - interesting times ahead methinks.

good interview with CEO @ 3:35 as well

Very positive

special note on moltz and BMM

also Riddell - ball is his court and we should know early next week

Todd has been plugging Moltzen @ 7 for 2 years now… And, he didn't rate the Tigers as a Top 8 chance this time last year... In fact, Todd trashed any talk that Lote would be force again in Rugby League...

Well, we all know where that ended up?!

I heard similar. But they want to see what type of strength/power Tank has in the injured right ankle because playing right wing the power in the right leg /ankle is vital for power-drive and to stay in field.

If all is well, Beau Ryan will be No. 17\. Beau will cover centre, fullback and wing in case of injury. Fonz wants this.

Word is that Fonz wants Moltzen to be the starting NRL 7.
Lui will be Wests Magpies 7 so that allegedly has pushed Waters to Balmain R/E.

So Lazarus will not be with the club next year and looks to be out on the street.

Lui is 1st drop as 7 or 6 in the NRL side when Benji or Moltzen encounter injury.

Fonz loves Browns size and if all goes well he will start at 1 in the NRL side.

Watch and see.

"Fonz loves Browns size and if all goes well he will start at 1 in the NRL side."

Brown played well when he got his chance this season, would be happy to see him given the opportunity to continue.

Brown Vs Mck for the no 1 spot.

I was happy when we signed Mitch from the Sharks and he had a great year.

He is pretty big boy for a back like Chris L. Still got some ways to go, But I would be happy to see him cemented at Full back in years to come.

Anyone still got last years Million dollar Ratings PDF??? good to see how the predictions went…

Looks like it will cost $$$

Taken from his website:

"The start of the week involves knowing all the injuries and suspensions. Most of this information is available to the public, but not all. Our inside network that will include at least one representative within each club keeps us informed with the fitness and availability of the players"

That sounds legal. If this guy was credible, why isn't he advising how much you would have made last season following his formula? Sure he may have a positive ROI the past 6 years, but you only need to make a $1 for a positive ROI. I question whether the ROI is before or after you pay the subscription fee. As for watching every game 3 times, how can he prove he does that?

Isn't it amazing …..... there were so many on here 6 or 7 months ago bagging Tim for not giving Lazarus a go and then not sticking by him and now according to BB, Lazarus will end up out on the street. How can the fans get it so wrong ??? Or maybe the fans will be right and another club will come along with a contract and he will turn out to be a champion half back .......... time will tell I suppose but I think Tim got it right and those who follow reserve grade got it terribly wrong.

The ratings are availbale for download now on the Talkin Sport website ( http://www.talkinsport.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) - 44 pages - only had a quick browse - a few typos, and strange selections - but its free and worth a read.

I stopped taking it seriously when he rated the Storm and Eels to finish =4th and the Dogs to finish =11th

* Denotes critical to team structure

Wests Tigers

Ins: Matt Evans (Rabbitohs), Tegele Naiyarvovo(NZ), Evander Waitoa (NZ), Ratu Tagive (Bulldogs), Jacob Miller (Newtown Jets), Steve Folks (formerly conditioner coach now assistant to Sheens)

Outs: David Gower (Dragons), Assistant Coach Royce Simmonds (St Helens)

Re-signed: Benji Marshall (2015), Gareth Ellis (2013), Liam Fulton (2013), Keith Galloway (2012), Wade McKinnon (2012), Taniela Tuiaki (2011).

COACH: Tim Sheens RATING: 7.5/10 (unchanged)

It took Sheens 18 months to work out that Benjy is not a halfback and he also thought Lawence could play pivot, but he looks to have his team worked out now and will be a threat in every game. They were primed for every big game in 2010 and very unlucky.

TO WIN PREMIERSHIP: They have a strong argument to suggest they were very unlucky not to win the 2010 Premiership. It is a credit to coach Tim Sheens that they so well considering they lost their halfback Tim Moltzen and leading try scorer (22 tries in 2009) Taniela Tuiaki last season.

If Moltzen can come back 100% his combination with Farah and Marshall will offer the Tigers an awesome spine, but we have yet to see Warriors reject McKinnon at his best playing fullback and the highly regarded Mullaney could be the answer.

TO MAKE TOP 8: Definitely if Farah stays fit.
TO WIN WOODEN SPOON: Marshall and Farah would have to be injured.

Mullaney

More optimistic this year, but the same dribble. I'm certain this guy thinks backs win footy games…
