Mitch Brown appreciation thread sign in..

When we first signed Mitch Brown, I was rolling my eyes as I didn't see much potential in that first trial game he played, and even dissed him on these forums.

Ever since watching closely at his full back role late last year and last night, I am totally eating pie and I think he is outstanding. Safe as houses and reliable.

Mitch brown, keep it up!! You are a true tiger!! :master:

Followed him closely at Cronulla. Thankfully Ricky Stuart's poor recruiting strategy led to a player like Mitch being let go for us to swoop on.

when ever brown gets his chance in the top grade he never lets us down last year in the finals at fullback he was as solid as a rock on the wing he came in and stops the attack he can pley in the centre he is a great club man when your backs against wall with all the injuries he can be a mister fix it .i must say i thought what a waist when we took him from the sharks wrong wrong wrong

Was absolutely outstanding last night against a strong side, He has got my 2 points!!!

every week at work - I get "who's mitch brown/daniella/fifita/woods/ayshford?"

after tonights effort, those questions should be put to bed.

both brown and utai were superb last night, even though sheens will disagree I cannot see any reason why ryan should dislodge either at the moment

Mitch Brown you are a champion, why Sheens didnt have you as a season starter has really pissed me off but i love the fact that you just keep proving him wrong when your called up. Great player who needs to stay in the team!

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't beau played centres his whole life until he came to the tigers?
I could see him slotting in for daniela when he's fit.

One thing that Brown has is size, he is a big unit for a centre/winger and this is a big advantage, especially defensively. Also running the ball out of our end he is excellent. Always hits the line hard.

I'll be in on the appreciation thread. Having him in the side, even on the wing is like having two fullbacks in your side. Unfortunately when the tigers are at full strength I can't see a starting position for him, although with our injury toll…...who knows?

Brown is a good trade in for Lote.

The back 3 are really doing their jobs on starting sets which is nice to see.

I can't see a spot for Beau now, especially if whoever steps into Daniellas shoes next week makes a fist of it

:righton: Mitch Brown has always been an asset to the side, he may have had an off week last week, but I have never doubted that he is a brilliant player. Thank you Mitch :master:

Mitch is doing us proud and should stay in the top grade.Beau has tried his hardest in the past but he can not expect to be in first grade with the calibre of our present wingers. Utai is the buy of the year.

When Lote is back Brown should go to centre.

Ryan should be nowhere near this side.

Agree, but Mitch might have to move to centre this week.

I remember when Brown came to us last year and was hugely impressive.

and one of my favourite players at the club, good under the high ball, excellent defensively, like Utai is a pain to put down.

With some solid game time I honestly think that in a few weeks it will be a case of Lote Who? (That being said he is a much better fullback then winger.
