Mitch Brown

Yep! Always rated Mitch Brown highly when he played for the tigers. Put in 100% every game and rarely made mistakes.

Actually Rabs said "Brown scores another!" He may mean another Canterbury try, as it was their second one.

I used to be a big fan of his, but I can see why we let him go. He isn't bad, but he definitely isn't anything special. Turner will fill the wing spot when his injury heals and barba will go to fullback. Brown will be back in nsw cup.

He's mediocre at best, which is why I can't believe our club let him go. We are the kings at putting up with mediocrity.

He never once let us down, and won us the game against Broncos when he got a chance.

No need to dump on him. There have been plenty of players with less talent and heart who achieved more simply for being at the right place at the right time. Mitch hasn't found his niche yet which is a shame.

He was actually one of our better performers when he was playing fullback in the finals series in 2011 I think it was.

If catching a ball and falling over the line passes for "winning us a game" here then we are pathetic.

Lockyer won QLD a series by doing just that. Darren Albert won Knights a GF by catching and running a few metres too.

I'm not making Brown out to be an Immortal, but credit where it is due, he was always solid and scored a match winner in a close tough game.

Anyone calling him "mediocre" is a backhander Brown doesn't really deserve IMO.

Your right he never let us down once, I didn't say he did. I agree with you he went OK at fullback when he played there, I actually think that's his best position unfortunately for him there are 16 better ones playing. Mate if he was any better than mediocre he'd be playing NRL every week and one club would hold onto him.
There are many players just like him and there will always be, sad but true.

Hes had 82 games across 3 clubs. Thats not bad. And hes only 25, plenty of players didn't make grade or become regular first graders until their late 20s.
