He has been starting to show some good glimpses of form during the back end of this season. anyone else looking forward to what he could offer with some more ball time?

Providing he keeps up the extra lessons under the high ball, I am only too happy for him to start in the opening 13.
He is big, tall, runs with power, and he is only young. I am looking forward to his continued improvement that comes with first grade experience.

I just watched the replay of the opening 20mins, and I must say he was looking more comfortable than ever. That break through the middle was impressive and he almost snuffed out a double.

Would waaaay rather him than Fitz at the back.

The high ball is his weakness at this stage, but that can certainly be fixed with practice and more time at the back. He's been used as a centre for Balmain and anywhere from wing, centre to fullback in FG, so he hasn't really had an opportunity to settle in any one position this season.

Not sure if he's gonna make it in 1st grade…big but lacks speed.
No idea why we bought him & Daniella & Fitzhenry,& throw in Tuamata when we
a)have similiar talent in the lower ranks, and
b)for the $$ were paying for all of them,we cld have bought a genuine rep class centre/winger

He played fairly well against cronulla made some good meters.
He's done some good things on the wing, bit of a weakness under the high ball but.

Lacks speed??? Other than Daniela,Lawrence and Benji who is quicker. Certainly yards quicker than Lote, Ryan and Mckinnon and miles quicker than Fitzy.

But he is shaky under that high ball although he has a few friends in that department

I like him on the wing, and play him at fullback when mckinnon is out and that is all. Definately a better option than fitzhenry.

Sadly Ryan never was quick,Lote & McKinnon, whilst possessing other skills ,have both lost their speed…so not sure whether theyre good benchmarks. Brown has looked slow against opostion wingers at times.is weak under the hi ball, but does turn up to play most weeks
My point was Id rather have a genuine 1st grader than yet another fringe 1st grader-weve got enough of those already

He is a liability at fullback purely because he is terrible under the high ball. This is not based on just last Saturday's game, but anyone who watched the Sharks trial at Gosford in pre-season will tell you the same. He dropped two easy catches that night.

I think he is a good option as a winger, I don't think he is slow at all (IMO he would be faster than McKinnon and Ryan) and he is quite big for an outside back and runs hard and fast. Would like to see the same aggression in defence from him that Daniela shows (even if he doesn't always stick in the tackle he often comes up fast and can put a decent hit on).

If Wade isnt ready, bring back Fitz.

Anyone who refuses to contest a bomb and allows it to bounce and the opposition ends up scoring from this lack of conviction is not worthy to play fullback.

Mitch lacks confidence under the high ball.

We aint going to win a premiership with him in the side.

Same goes for wing, who get targetted with high kicks if its known they cant/wont catch them
