Yeah, I never thought much of Mitch when he was at Cronulla. He always looked pedestrian… When we signed him, I thought he might step up a gear to be competitive in this backline. Who wouldn't want to play outside Benji?

This hasn't happened and I wouldn't be surprised if he plays park football for a long long time...

Let's hope something clicks and he re-invents himself for 2011...

In the last few minutes against Manly and the opening few minutes against the sharks he really looked the goods. But then he fell into a hole against the sharks for the rest of the game and went back to looking hesitant, and lacking confidence. When he plays like that, we are in trouble if he is our next best back. He needs to be running hard onto the ball and defending with commitment.

I hope he comes good because he has shown some glimpses of class but I am not holding my breath…
