How good was Mitch Brown tonight defended solidly bar the miss on zillman for the try. ran hard to gain metres and i never new he was so quick when he ran down gordon who is arguably the fastest man in the comp.

IMO he will be in the 17 every week for the rest of the year whether at 1, 4, 5 or 17

Agreed. He's really impressed over the last few weeks. I wasn't a great fan earlier in the year, but he's changed my opinion - not that that counts for much. lol

Brown has come good at the right end of the season, he would make a good fullback if Wade is out

Great game by Mitch and he has played really well over the last four games - when the pressure has really been on him.

Happy to give Meany another chance; two bad mistakes but Robbie made the same number so no disgrace.

He's been very good over the last month, playing two good games at fullback and two good games in the centres. If Daniela is right to play next week, I'd put Brown back to fullback and Daniela in the centres though. i wasn't sold on Meaney tonight and i think Brown is more likely to make an impact from the back.

Brown is better in the centres…....given our injuries,,,

Doubt if Daniela will be right....

He obviously went well at centre but played two great games at full-back against Parra and Panthers. I actually prefer him at full-back.

His best position is centre. He doesn't get too involved from FB. He can break the line as we saw today and from FB, he usually runs the decoys. And also, his support play isnt that good to be quite honest, but that won't take away anything from his improvement over the last couple of months.

What is the nature of Daniela's injury?

For a guy who struggled in the worst backline on the comp last year he has made every post a winner this season.
Chasing down Gordon early in the first half he showed a heap more pace than I ever thought he had and has cemented himself a spot in the run on backline from here on in as far as i'm concerned. Top effort.

He never got a go at the Sharks, and hasn't had a proper go here until a month ago,he has shown a few regulars up though, and if we were near full strength then a few regulars would go before him.

He does the simple things well with a low mistake rate,& runs hard at the opposition.I thought he was too slow for a wing spot, but was impressed with Gordon rundown
I havent seen anything from McKinnon to suggest Brown doesnt deserve his spot,& Ryan is just a walking disaster(as opposed to running, which he rarely does unless its sideways)

Awesome effort from Brown tonight and I think if Daniela is still out then we may see Meaney dropped fro Brown at fullback, Fitzy to the wing and Ryan puched into centre.

Can someone confirm that Brown's preffered position is fullback, Im sure that when he came to us that in an interview he stated this.

Impressive few weeks from Brown has hit form … fullback/ centre / winger is a starter that's for sure.On Ryan if Sheens is serious about the title Ryan has to be dropped very impressed with Latu in the Souths game.

That about sums up my position. I thought Meaney was 50/50
