Love him, he's developing nicely and he'll take a lot out of todays loss and be bigger and better for it. He's our future no doubt about it now.
 
Won the last 3 games for us, but rocks & diamonds today. He kicked for 2 repeat sets in the 1st half and i thought he was going to murder it again. But then he put in 2 very poor kicks that gave the titans good field position which led to tries. The 2 runaway tries were off his passes as well. The missed penalty goal was very gettable too.

I hope he bounces back quickly - great kid
 
I believe its a mistake trying to build a team around him.
A good young player overpaid by about 300k not enabling us to retain or buy other good players.
Worth keeping but my issue with him is that to retain him and Brooks we lost,

Wonder how many high shots Moses and teddy would have copped with marty and Blair in the team?
And most on that list are in premiership contention.
Patty would have wonus a few on kicking alone.

Know he copped a knock today but was poor.

he was poor today but won us the game the last 3 weeks. The sole playmaker cant do it all week in week out.
 
Well today showed one thing Moses is not yet mature enough to run the team around..today was an example of bad on field management .The guy has talent but is a long way off being able to close a game out ..had plenty of chances and was not good enough.
 
Had a shocker, but he's already proven he'll be a champion. A book could be written about what he could learn from today. The field goal attempt with a minute to go was not on. He can't miss penalty goals in the last 7 minutes when the game and season is on the line either.
 
He needed another play maker on the field today to take some of the pressure of him.

Anyway the guy has a big heart and always has real dig. I am sure he would be unhappy with some things which happened today.

Totally disagree with you - I would not want any of those players back. Tigers obviously feel the same way, which is why they let them go.

By the way you do realise that all of them signed with other teams and did not want to stay with the exception of Patty who retired from the NRL.

Imo Moses is worth more than your list all put together.

Disagree. Patty left for one final contract before throwing in the towel. Taupau left for more money. Blair was terrible with us and went to a star studded team because, well, he can't be bothered unless he's playing with stars apparently.
Moses is young. He'll win us more games than he'll lose. We all have bad days at the office.

Yep, the field goal wasn't on. He should have kicked for touch and played for golden point.
Shoulda, coulda, woulda…
Hindsight is a beautiful thing.
Damn I wish Hayne had missed or made the Fiji team!
 
No doubt he is a good player and will get better but at this point it would be very helpful to have a more experienced player sharing the responsibility he has taken on. He can be inconsistent and someone to assist or share directing the team would be better for the team.
 
I just don't get how he hasn't "learnt" this rubbish already. One minute to go and an under 7's half would go for the smart play and kick deep wait for an error. But no, our Mitch again went for the dumb play.

But he'll learn from this …

I'd just like to see him keep his head out of newspapers. And TV interviews, and concentrate on his game. Instead of telling everyone how he's improving and what he'll do In his next game.
A couple of good games is fine, but he's no superstar yet. No matter how many media experts tell him he is, there's been a lot of ordinary games too, and IMO they still outweigh the good ones in number.
He could do well to take a leaf out of Clearys book and let his playing do the talking.
 
Today wasn't his best performance but it does have to be taken into account that he got tackled in the air, copping a head knock when he landed and also seemed to pick up a groin strain. just watch him go next year!
 
A great learning curve for the young fella as our attack was all down the right side with Titans numbers stacked. He buckled under pressure and made way too many mistakes. It is why Brooks is vital to this team as our left edge is dreadful in attack without him and places too much pressure on Moses on the right.
