Mitchell Moses released [Official]

One thing I would say, I can understand Benny's position, the kid is his nephew. I can't have a go at Benny on this one, just looking out for his family and he's been pretty mild about it actually, not finger pointing at the Tigers like so many others in mMoses' corner have tried.

I agree w everyone else though, you play football. Where you might be playing next week should not be on your mind when you take the field. You are supposed to be able to forget those things in the heat of battle. Worry about your Parramatta combinations when you are there, plenty of time for all that.

Maybe we should only mentally "think" about paying his wages instead of physically doing so.

What a brat reggies or Parra never again should he get the chance to play firsts with us.

He's not looking out for his family by doing this. Looking out for his nephew would involve him smacking Mitch over the back of the head and telling him to wake up to himself. He's just encouraging and excusing Mitch's weakness by coming out in support of him.

Apparently Tui has been denied an inmediate release, so if this is true we better be getting someone of significance in return.

Yeah but you defend your family in public even if you smack them in the head in private.

Well I guess Mitchell - if you were not there mentally with us over the past two weeks, we can expect the return of the past two weeks salary.

Mate, I thought you were going to be a real good one for us.

Instead you have become a snivelling little poor excuse for a footballer.

Good riddence!!! Oh! and please take your uncle with you.

Moses's reputation has been tarnished big time, as I said in another post he needs to sack his manager and his head coach and start taking advise from some smart people.

Anyway he will want to deliver for Parra, because with his inflated contract will come big expectations

Embattled Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses will finally join Parramatta by Tuesday morning, according to uncle and Balmain great Ben Elias.

Moses' future has been a hot topic in the NRL since agreeing to a long-term deal with the Eels last month following the club's sensational decision to withdraw an offer.

But after speaking to his nephew on Sunday night, Elias predicts a welcome end to the saga.

**"I told him he missed more tackles than he made [against Souths] and he said, 'Uncle Ben, I'm just not there'.** **He's not there and he hasn't been there for the past two weeks,**" Elias told AAP on Monday.

"The first two weeks, he showed his respect, his quality, his finesse and his abilities. But mate, when you've been told repeatedly that it's this week, this week, well it's hard.

"You're everywhere, you're a scattered gun. Like anything in life, if you're not settled, you got no routine, you're going to be all over the shop.

"The greatest thing for him is the sooner the better for him to go, for the club and for him."

It is believed the 22-year-old had requested a release from his current contract to immediately link with Parramatta on numerous occasions, only to be turned down.

The Tigers were understood to be on the search for a replacement in exchange for Moses' mid-season exit, possibly in the form of out-of-favour Warriors utility Tuimoala Lolohea.

However Lolohea could also be with a new club by the end of the week after his manager reportedly met with Warriors officials on Monday.

Elias said Moses was physically at Concord, but mentally at Parramatta.

"I feel for Mitch. Mitch has been told by the club that he's going to Parramatta. That was three weeks ago. So the kid's got his mind at Parramatta," Elias said.

"He's going to bed thinking Parramatta, thinking about his combinations, a little bit of the way they play … but physically he's at the Tigers.

"If you've signed with the opposition, you ain't going to give your whole heartedness at your present job, especially when you're told by your boss, you're not one of the preferences.

"In the last two weeks he's been very disappointing. And he knows that I've chatted with him and he's disappointed with himself. But you've gotta feel for the kid.

"I would say in the next 24 hours, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go."

The Tigers have been reached for comment.

Well you little grub…if you havent been there, as you say how about handing back the 12k each week the club has paid you ...To Be There!!!

Going to bed thinking about Parra? Your a parrathetic little so and so. Good riddance to you. P.S my daughter and I were at the game last Friday and she wouldn't wear her jersey cause it has the # 6 on it. Dad he has no heart playing for our club. So she borrowed one of mine. I told her players come and go but our team always remains. Wests Tigers 4 life. :sign:

I honestly don't care if we get anyone in return. Just let him go now, even if that means we have to play Rankin, Hunt or Mapesone in the halves. At least they'll want to be in the team.

everybody is saying drop him to reserve grade but after the way he played last week the boys in reserve grade deserve someone next to them better than that just let go a club doesn't need people like that same as tedesco he has dropped so much that is unrecognisable the way he is playing now you don't see cooper cronk dropping in form after his announcement
