I wasn't listening directly but a work mate told me that MMM mentioned this morning that Lawrence is rumoured to be leaving.

Please let it be false. 😛ray:
 
The speculation has only come up because of the impending retirement of Gasnier
 
Yeh i just heard that he will announce he will ahng up the boots at the end of this year. Thats a bit of a shock as he has 2 more years of his contract to go after this year and he is only 30.
 
wonder if the Gasnier situation is the "a high profile player will walk away from the game at the end of the year as thier club is in salary cap trouble"
 
No way will we let Lawrence go. In all seriousness this isnt a player like gibbs, heighno who are just good clubmen, or a moltzen or fifita who 'could be good' , this is Chris Lawrence, a 23 year old or somthing who is ALREADY in the top 3 centres of the game with Inglis and Hodges (not bad company…).

The Tigers will release who they have to release to keep him, and pay him what they have to pay him. But on top of that, they are not going to release him while hes still on contract.
 
Well he'd be on a boatload and the Dragons will be looking to spend it elsewhere, they'd also be cashed up from Boyd's contract? I doubt Lawrence would leave but I'm sure he'll get an offer. The Dragons would be mad not to target our players after this "exodus". I expect Ayshford to get an offer too.
 
He's probably having you on champ.

Rowdy is one of the most professional players at the club, and I don't think there's any chance on him moving, especially before 2016.
 
Gasnier is a right centre,Rowdy a left centre,and a loyal kid to boot,a Wests junior who wants to stay a 1 club man.
 
Maybe that's why they signed Moltzen LOL. They must have noticed how well he went for us in the centres…...Not.

Moltz played Left Centre for us, but I feel he wouldve been better on the Right… They have some handy kids though, so I cant see Moltzen getting a walk up start in thier backline?!
 
True. Maybe if moltzen was on the right hed of done better. I do remember him killing the cowboys (as a half though) on the right hand side and even palming off Thurston once or twice with his left fend (Cant do it on left hand side obviously)
