Just because we're in a loosing slump everyone decides to throw the blame on 2 people, benji Marshall and Tim sheens. When we were winning everyone on here was loving them both now we have lost a few and everyone has turned on them. This is ridiculous have faith in your team and the people leading them honestly. Everyone out there who's willing to throw them to the wolves needs to honestly grow up and show a little faith!

5 but it's hard for a half to play well when there not getting any momentum from the forwards which forces him to try and create something out of nothing and then he commits errors.

I agree a few of the forwards needed to step up for him to be effective, but he still lacks the consistency everyone expects from a star playmaker and that's why we're all frustrated.

That's not true. Like 80% of the team are copping it at the moment (and rightly so).
 
Yeah I can understand that too, but when you look at what happened last year when our forwards were dominant laying down a great foundation for our halves benji was very consistent and was making extremely good decisions and was the star playmaker we all expected him to be

Who are you to tell people to grow up melly?

When your team is chock full of internationals, your playmaker is an international captin and your coach presides over the Kangaroos, you are entitled to believe your side can play football.

Forgetting the first few games, our forwards haven't been that bad. Woods has been sensational, Galloway has been solid. BMM and Bell have been good. Blair has been a pillow though I'll give you that.

The difference for me last year was the fact that Lui became a threat and took some pressure off of Benji and Robbie. They had more time and room and they used it.
 
Ahh yes, i knew it was too good to be true not to have someone from the ''true supporter'' brigade looking down on the rest us from their throne. Can't believe it took 7 hrs

Apart from the drop in form of every player except Woods and Ryan, theres 2 reasons this side has gone to crap this year.

No.1 Lui. The club knew of his crime last year and have done S.F.A to address the fact they would have to sack him and be left without our halfback. It is round 21 and we are still trialling our halves. Lui was a major reason we made the finals last year. He is missed (only for his football mind you).

No.2 Benji. His game has been changed by person/s who have damaged his confidence and flair as an attacking weapon. He is a shadow of his former self. He is missing heaps of tackles, he is running his support players out of room, his passes are hitting the ground or going over the sideline again. His kicking is also unsatisfactory.

Rubbish!

We lost on Monday night and nearly every thread on here was positive in some form or another. You know why? because the team had a dig. They were valiant in defeat and thats all we ask of them - to try every week. A number of times this year they have failed to do this and thats when they cop a caning. When they play hard and do well, win lose or draw, they are duly praised on here.

Benjis 5th tackle options were woeful. You'd think he only played a handful of nrl games. That being said I blame sheens for failing to sign or develop a proper half back. John Morris anyone???

Nah benji tweeted at some point last night " thanks 2 the true fans #thickandthin" seems true fans happily accept mediocre performances.
