Moltzen not at fullback is a huge difference.
And Moltzen at 7 is also a huge difference. He gets the ball where it needs to be quickly and cleanly and has good vision, strength & a bit of speed when needed.

Blind Freddy, a bloke who I talk about alot, can see that the way to go is Moltzen 7, Benji 6.
Too bad the Fonz is obsessed with turning Moltz into a fullback.

Moltz gives the team a genuine option who can threaten the line (run + pass) on the opposite side to Benji…........
MASSIVE difference when teams have to watch both sides of the field (Last season they could sleep on J Morris side and Lui doesn't threaten much at this stage)
In comes Moltz........they have to guard both sides. We can attack from either side and the middle. (Robbie)
Makes us a whole different side.

his kicking game is what will always let him down, especially in general play! if he improves then he should be our number seven!

Lazo in at FB and we are set. He's better at half, but he and Moltz can switch + he can goal kick.
We completely outplayed them tonight…........yet could have lost due to not stretching the lead via goalkicks.

I personally think he played the perfect game given what was in front of him. Lui is a talent but he's still finding his feet and Moltzen is just not a _complete_ fullback. His attack is great, but he is shaky when it comes to kicks and his positioning can be left wanting at times and he certainly doesn't provide the go forward at the back that Beau did tonight.
I guess I'm saying that this is the best possible combination with our current crop of players pending Tuiaki's return.

Come on, we played well but you can hardly say Moltz at 7 made a difference. Lets be serious people.
