Moltzen at Fullback

With our injury problem there stems the problem with Moltzen to be honest at full strenght the bench warmer back at this stage ..this player Mentally is nowhere near NRL standed at the moment blind bart can see that.. In time the Mojo will return but until then his role has to be minor at best no use blaming the player the Coach should know better!!!

I agree 100%. Tim Moltzen is a very good player who has great potential. The problem is that if we are at full strength his best use for our team is the bench back reserve ( is a far better option than Fitzy was in the same role).

I think Moltzen is a halfback/five eigth but in my opinion we have Benji at 6 who is the best in the world and that Lui is a better 7 and I think Miller will also be a better 7 in time. If Curtis Sironen stays at 6 he I think will end up better than Moltzen. I would not be suprised to see Moltzen leave in the next few years. I trust our recruitment team to make the right decisions (they appear to be going very well in the last few years).

Dont blame Moltzen, hes not the 1 moving himself around the whole park week to week, its hard for him to adjust & get settled.

I feel sorry for moltz, finding a permanent position for him is looking unlikely. I was hoping he would get a permanent spot as HB, but i really like Jacob Miller there, he has alot of 'go forward' & hes not afraid to kick.

I wonder what Moltzen thinks being made to play in a position he is obviously not suited for.
For some reason Sheens thinks if you can play good in one position you can play just as good in any other position (note our long list of halfbacks over the last few years)
Is it too hard to play guys in their best positions?
Surely Brown HAD to be fullback with McKinnon out.

It is and it's been going on for some time…...Morris at halfback anyone?

You would have thought so, especially given the diffusing Brown only did last week.

We lose any number of players and the whole positioning of replacement players goes right up the spout and generally makes no sense.

moltzen is obviously lacking both fitness and confidence. i rate the kid but he should not play fullback. the halves are his future but more likely a utility on the bench if lui is fit.

After that one, I'm over Moltzen. Miller is as good as him NOW and Lui is a million times better. We have better centres, we have better fullbacks, we have better halfbacks, we have better 6's.

Bye bye Mr Moltzen. I'm sure some other club will offer you a big cheque to play in your proper position and then we'll see you end up NSW number 6 or something and we'll all regret ever losing you.

Sheens the coach is a disgrace.

Shocking .

Inept .

Stupid .

Dumb.

Imbecile.

Moltzen is not a fullback you dumby.

Hey that was a short month…

Latu dropped balls one flew of Utai's head....Moltz had no idea yet they still went 77mins right in the contest playing the worst half of footy since Souff's last year....

Anyone remember what happened after that game

x2 he can still be used by the club as an excellent utility

I'm a big Moltzen fan but if i was the coach i'd drop him after that game. I'd tell him why i'm doing it and i think it will be the best thing for him for the future. Short of players or not.

in hindsight - another silly thread - moltzen is still coming to terms with life after such an injury - talk to me semi final time on the same subject.
