reliable source? or is this tuiaki signs with eels stuff?

Isn't Tim signed on for a few more years? I doubt this for some reason.

Surely he's on more than $60k here?

he was on an insentive based deal with us and has been promised the no 7 by Canberra.. If this does happen he will go well with Campese i think this is what Fergie fer was hinting at the other day :imp:
 
Disappointed if this is the case, but wish Tim the best if he was to leave.
 
Moltzen on 60 grand a year when the minimum wage is 55 grand –I dont think so. Where do the rumors start????I would imagine most clubs would be interested in Moltzen if he was off contract but as far as I know we have him locked up till the end of next year. Maybe the Raiders are looking at Matt Orford for 2011 and Moltzen for 2012 and beyond. Of course dont forget the Central Coast Bears will be targeting him if and when they get a gig

I'd say for the juniors like Lui, Dwyer and Fifita, they'd be on an incentive based pay structure on the number of matches they play. It'd be a base salary close to minimum wage, maybe around $60,000 - then maybe something like $2,000 per game they play.

Don't quote me on that, but this is usually the norm amongst juniors/fringe first graders
 
I can see his reasoning for maybe joining the Raiders - they will have a pretty good side on paper next year. But come on, the Tigers won't let him go that easily…..he should still be our 7 as far as I am concerned.

Tim Moltzen is contracted untill the end of 2012

Moltzen off contract at the end of 2010 had his contract extended by the Wests Tigers for a futher two seasons until the end of 2012\. Upon the extention of Moltzen's contract club CEO Stephen Humphreys said “Tim has gone from the U20s Rookie of the Year in 2008 to an established first grade player,’’ “He is a crucial member in Wests Tigers going forward and he has successfully shown he can play full-back or half-back."

I would be surprised if these rumour's were true…
 
it doesn't mean that Canberra haven't sounded him out
I wouldn't blame them, he is superstar in the making!
