I can see only one logical outcome from all this - he alternates between the two clubs playing a week for us a week for them :stuck_out_tongue:

Geez what a mess - how would you feel about moltzen if you were a Dragons fan?

Hopefully for his sake he can make the move and get on with his career.

Interesting read - I wonder if the change of heart comes from fresh legal advice or perhaps we now have someone else in our sights and want to hold on to the dollars?
 
There appears to be a fair exodus from Manly in the near future, Foran being one of them and I'd love to see him play for us…

Fresh legal advice? I thought the ball was in our court? We had the contract that was registered with the NRL. What is going on here?

This saga has more twists than a pretzel - can't wait to see the final outcome - will Lui be staying? Has Carney agreed to terms? Cherry- Evans walks out on Manly after Hasler leaves and joins Tigers? Cronk misses former teamate Blair and begs to join at him at WT?

Just throwing this out there, bearing in mind Tim Moltzen actively sought employment elsewhere and signed a contract with the Dragons that he might actually wants to leave, maybe get out from being more than Benji's flat mate.

No one knows except Tim Moltzen what he wants and actions it would seem to me be louder than words. There is always someone who reckons they are on the inside who knows a mate who knows from another mate who drinks with a bloke who is Benji's best mate… Yes you know who you are... Blah blah

No one player is bigger than the club if he goes he goes move on. I'm certainly not going to waste energy right through the off season worrying about something that I cannot change.

Maybe it was more a case of the Tigers wanting fair compensation from the Dragons to release him and thats what has been negotiated?
 
so we look like going into 2012 with no recognised full or halfback. mmmmm NOT GOOD. Miller will take a few years to develop much like LUI and well we better keep Brown at all costs . gee we missed a golden opportunity this year. Best of luck timmy moltz we are a bunch of tools, the way this was all handled really stinks. :wtf :brick:

I'm over the whole thing - just make a decision already! I can only guess there is some link to a Dragons player coming our way. Ben Hornby maybe? Probably not but I'll throw it out there and who can really say what will happen? Just when you think this is all sorted things change. It is hard to believe that SH would have created all these waves for no benefit. There has to be some other angle to it.
 
If the report fom the DT and SMH are correct why did we attempt to hold up the contract of Tim Moltzen

I can't see the logic in it

Its not if the Dragons have anyone we would want to trade with and anyone that may be worthwhile they wouldn't trade for Moltzen (nothing against Moltzen )

I just don't know what it all has proven

Maybe someone can explain it to me ??
