Moltzen to Manly

Unfortunately after injuries, Moltzen never fully recovered. Even at his best his weak point was kicking, much worse than Marshall, Moses, Brooks or Farah, his main force was speed and good anticipation of Marshall's plays.
His role at FB was a huge miss, while he occasionally had a solid game, his bomb catching was at best 20% success, and ball returns non-existent -> Tim 'I-do-not-want-to-be-tackled' Moltzen.
Even in NSW cup, he has shown nothing. Far short for a player on significant money.
Anyhow, good luck in his future carrier.

Will give us a bit of Money to spend, He was on good coin with us.

Not money to spend. Money which has been spent. We probably re-allocated his salary anywhere from 6-12 months ago.

Just clarifying that people don't expect us to be able to sign a new player because he's not re-signing with us, as sometime seems to be the misconception.

Tim Moltzen signs with Manly: is the forgotten Tigers utility the man to fill Kieran Foran’s shoes?

MANLY have continued to reboot their roster for 2016, signing forgotten Tigers utility Tim Moltzen.

Moltzen looks set to fill the shoes of departing star Kieran Foran as the Sea Eagles’ first choice five-eighth next season despite not having played first grade for the Tigers since round seven, 2013\. It’s a massive risk, with Moltzen carrying more injury baggage than arguably any other player still pursuing a rugby league career, especially given he’s just 26\. So is Moltzen the right man to partner Daly Cherry-Evans as Manly’s new era begins?

“I’m really grateful they see something in me to give me a chance and I will be working my butt off,” Moltzen told News Corp Australia after his signing was announced. And he’ll need to, because there’s no doubt about it, Trent Barrett and Bob Fulton are taking a huge risk. Even just in the last two years, Moltzen’s had a horrific time of it finding his way onto the field, rupturing his ACL in 2013 and then injuring his kneecap in pre-season training last year. Then, while rehabilitating his knee injury he picked up a staph infection that went undiagnosed for four months. While still receiving treatment for the staph infection this season, Moltzen injured his AC joint and elbow when he returned in the lower grades for the Tigers.

I hope that he has a change of luck there and goes well though to be honest i have never rated him.Hope he has no injuries there the poor bugger had had more than his share good luck Tim and thanks for your service

A change of scenery will do him well. An unfortunate array of injuries have ruined his confidence and what was a promising first grade career.

He had typical Moltzen's play, loosing balance on 1st tackle with no-one around him, he throws low hospital pass - Tim "it-wasn't-my-error " Moltzen.

kicks selfishly for himself on tackle 3, while we have a man in the sin bin and it goes dead
That's really stupid
