I know he hasn't been at the club all long but from the outside looking in he seems to be a great clubman. and the type of player you'd want in your Top30 every year. Can play multiple positions, never goes missing in a game , low error rate. Solid under the high ball, defensive reads are good. Good finisher doesn't take up much cap space. Why not sign him few a couple of years?

Great to see that he wants to stay and is not one of those morons who feels the need to test himself on the open market. He should be rewarded for that alone. Give him 2 or 3 years. He deserves some security.

Thompson will be interesting to see where madge is at and wanting to head. If we are going to be about size and power like madge at Souths he will be a low priority. If madge is more flexible here maybe he has a future. Really depends on madge and his views on where we are heading with this roster
