Yeah it was a toss up between him and Brent Tate for mine With Yow Yeh out , it is one position we are stretched

Not like the NSW team, full of headaches, trade offs, heartache…
 
Not a Tonga fan , he will hobble around for about 50-60 minutes of the game with a shoulder injury or a leg injury as he does for 80% of the SOO games he plays

Would take Tate over Tonga he is absolutely HUGE in SOO football for Qld

Mrs T Don't you come on here picking on us poor Qlders

Its hard for us 15 of the 17 pick themselves

NSW about 3 blokes pick themselves Gallen ,Lewis and Uate

I'm not convinced Gallen even is from NSW He far too talented to be a NSW player 😱pen_mouth:
 
The side picks itself.

Tate IMO will be picked on wing.

This side is capable of another series win.

One of the greatest sides every assembled.

It really doesn't matter who NSW pick it will not trouble QLD.

Too much class and combinations.
 
Brent Tate is a prime example of why QLD is such a great side at the moment. He wasn't in the form of his life last year (due to injury) but was still picked on the fact he had been great in the past. Origin experience is such a huge thing, a thing which Ricky Stuart can't seem to comprehend.

A prime case of this is Anthony Minichiello. I can't believe how poorly he is treated by NSW. One thing you can bet is Corey Parker will play on the bench with that no-name Ashley Harrison starting at lock. This is about the only advantage NSW get.
 
The only spot they will struggle with is wing.

TBF you could prob raffle it on game night, some lucky punter from the crowd gets the spot.

Dane Nielsen is another possibility for that wing spot.

Ashley Harrison will be chosen, even though he is rubbish.
 
Who cares who they pick - it's who we pick.
The only reason we keep losing is through poor player selection (does the white shoe brigade sling our selectors?) and dud refereeing.
Pick the right team and get a fair go and we cream 'em every time - go the Blues!

I tend to agree though... Team Selections is NSW's biggest concern!

Is the name ''Tuqiri'' a dirty word when it comes to Origin? he'd by far be a better option then Vidot and Tonga, two names that have already been thrown out there
