Just for accuracy for my own knowledge as I cant find a link and see many requests. Is this thread about "Stats prove that he is the best defensive half in the west tigers, 110 tackles and 10 missed. Keep it up" or is it about the whole league.

Put me down for a link too as I have Moses down for almost 10 missed tackles in 2 - 3 games. Its now coming in to round 7.

I find the Moses thing a bit strange. He was talked up as an attacking weapon with a silky passing game whose defence was suspect due to his size.

Here we are after 6 rounds and we find his defence is outstanding and his attack is faltering with lots of misdirected passes.

Footy is certainly a strance game at times!

Moses has the highest missed tackles in the NRL How does that make his Defence outstanding ?

He doesn't seem to be much good at general field kicking but I will agree with you about his passing.

He has the lowest if you read the thread mate haha

I am working of Big League and NRL.com which is saying 25 missed tackles in 6 games by Moses which makes him the **highest** missed tackles in the NRL.

Is it too hard for people to actually watch a game and make a comment on his defence?
The kid has a go at everything thrown at him.
He could easily take a few steps sideways and leave the big guys to someone else but he doesn't.
Watch a game or make something of the stats.

No mate, you need to realise people need to have a whipping boy. Last year it was Siro who was a cat, not going to make it, and God forbid hadn't peaked by 21!
There's no doubt Moses has the goods. He has plenty of ticker and a nice attacking game. What he lacks is first grade experience. Funnily enough there's only one way to get that.

The Stats really are a guide and are very rarely a true indicator of defence.

The bloke who completely mis-reads in defence hardly ever gets recorded as a MT, while his buddy who gets left stranded makes a last gasp attempt to tackle, drops off and gets the MT recorded against his name.

One thing is for certain, our Right Side Defence has been very good this year.

Agreed Watto…I watched the Parra game when I got back yesterday and the right side was fantastic in defence especially Lawrence and Mitch.... but it's Sue/Lovett Moses Lawrence and Naiqama...so they all suck at various times...WTF 101...
