Moses to Fullback

I have seen all the Reggies games this year and i really think Rowe is still trying to find his feet in the NSW cup, the 20's comp is mostly attacking with litlle defence and hence the high scores. He is finding that tries are alot harder to come by now and the contact is 1st grade level. There have been numerous tries by the oposition where he has been the last line of defence, and he simply struggles to hold up or stop the ball from getting to the ground (Teddy would of stopped 90% of them) and occasionally throwing in a boot every now and then. The kid has a lot of potential but given the situation we're in it's sink or swim! Hoping he can prove me wrong.. And to those saying Nofa wouldn't be good at fullback, he was the Magpies fullback for Harold Mathews and S.G ball breaking tackles at will with Teddy playing on the wing.

At the time Moses is ready for the call up, he deserves the respect to play him in his normal and comfortable position in the halves. It is daunting enough to make your debut in First Grade, let alone doing it out of position.

Happy, I love the logic behind your post - especially when it came to fruition. Well done!

Just common sense TS nothing more nothing less

Maybe if Anasta was playing it may have been different

If we win and they both play well be interesting to see what happens then with Anasta

Thurston will put Rowe under all kinds of pressure, he either sinks or swims.

While i'm happy with the selection of a fullback replacing a fullback (Can you Imagine?) and Potter being a champion fullback himself, I think Moses would have added that x-factor value to the team. Rowe is solid but I was blown away by the skill and the hands of Moses in the U20s game against the Titans the other week. At the moment I would go out of my way to have him in the team; off the bench. Future superstar

The tester will come if Thurston puts Jason Taumalolo through a gap and they are one on one, Taumalolo is without doubt the most blockbusting ball runner in the game atm! Rowe will either with bring him down with a copybook legs tackle or end up in the 1st row! Fingers crossed it's not the latter!! :sign:

If Taumololo runs over him, or JT catches him out, he wont be the first or last for either…..

hope he goes well, I think he is a pretty good player, and a reasonable fill in.

it maybe rowe and Austin are not ready for a step up but remember last year we picked nofoaluma , simona ,sironen .koroibete ,sue ,seumanufagai ,buchanan, they all had to start some where, are we now reaping from what we have sown. good luck rowe and austin give it your best shot you maybe our next stars
