Can't wait!

Nice looking bike mate. I was considering learning to ride up until late, but one of my work colleagues came off his bike and is now paralysed. Just too risky given my luck (or lack of) with getting injured.

That reminds me. When I was living in Taiwan I used to ride motor bikes. Only because you didn't need a license. The police are a joke in Taiwan. If they would flag me down I'd keep riding totally ignoring them. In Taiwan they have traffic lights but no one stops at red lights only at policed intersections. Drunk driving is prevalent in Tawain. So it's dangerous getting a drunk driver speeding through a red light. One night after a few drinks with fellow expats I rode home. Coming to a green light but you must slow down because of drivers ignoring their red light. Imagine that, slowing down at a green light. And I saw this car coming through the intersection but he had a red light & didn't look like stopping. So I thought %*+€ you! And I continued going through the green light & he wasn't stopping either and inevitably he hit me. I wasn't totally inebriated as I knew where to hit him making sure if that is possible that it wasnt a head on collision. Minor injury for me & of course it was a hit & run. Ahhhhhh that's life. Back then there was no Wests Tigers. Not sure about traffic in Taiwan these days. That's my bike story.

Yeah I read some articles about riding in those Asian countries. SOunds nuts.

To be honest many people here aren't much better!

Tell you what though, being a bike rider makes you a better driver.

Those stories are hard to stomach Willow. A guy I know was killed in a bike accident last year.
