Have seen quite a few recent releases. Here's my take on them -

Hanna - enjoyable movie, excellent lead cast but strangely written characters for the baddies. Soundtrack was great tho.

Friends with benefits - loved it. Mila Kunis is sexxxy.

Captain America - average Superhero flick. was ok only.

The Change up - very funny stuff!

Just saw the re-boot of Conan. Pretty decent flick with some very good action sequences staged, it will be interesting to see how it fares at the box office because there is already talk of a sequel, but given this re-boot cost $100 million, it will want to double it's money for a sequel to be green-lit.

Dead on arrival at the U.S. box office, it won't fare too well with international audiences either. Can't see a sequel happening. It was a shocking idea to start with.

I saw Submarine this week, terrific little film, directed by Richard Ayoade (Moss from The IT Crowd) with original soundtrack by Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys).

what is "dead on arrival" about???

Apologize if this has been mentioned already, saw a movie called Law Abiding CItizen and thought it was unreal. Check it out if you haven't!!!

Another was a film called Buried with Ryan Reynolds. Without giving too much away and for the "confined" way in which the movie is filmed and directed, I found it really intriguing and very suspenseful until the last minute. Really keeps you guessing.

i like 'law abiding citizen'. i havent seen 'confined' yet

Haha no the movie is called Buried, but I'm trying not to give spoilers here and you'll understand what I meant by confined. As it's a film virtually filmed in one spot. Can't say much more check it out.

I will chase this one down, Massive moss fan.

Worst movie ever Contender… Will Farrell, land of the lost.

Its very rare that I stop half way (Especially a Will Farrell movie) but this one didnt last 30 mins.

Have you seen "Fist Of Legend" alien? It's a remake of Fist Of Fury, with Jet Li. It's up there with the very best martial arts movies ever made. Also "Flash Point" with Donnie Yen is pretty darn good.
