for those in the area, where borders used to be at macarthur square (the bottom level of borders) they are selling heaps of very cheap dvds and cds in there. they are mostly old ones. there are alot of martial arts movies in there, especially bruce lee ones

Watched one this week that is a couple of years old called 'Mongol', all about the beginnings of Genghis Khan, was all subtitled but if that dosnt put you off it was a brilliant movie. Also watching Crazy Heart tonight, have some high hopes for that one.

Went and saw "horrible bosses" tonight with the missus. Bloody crackup, plenty of laughs and Jen Aniston is smokin' in it.

You can get 10 DVD movies for $20 at that place in Macarthur Square. I got some more martial arts movies.

Anyone seen Priest? It's ok but it only goes for around 85 mins. I saw it in 3D. :sunglasses:

Has anyone watched a movie called Communion. I am watching it now. I really shouldn't haven't watched this before going to bed!

im watching bruce lee - the chinese connection. bruce lee was sad when his master died :frowning: he got revenge though!

I was a bit disappointed as Paul Bettany and Karl Urban are worthy of much better scripts than that of Priest.

However a better looking vampire flick is the latest in the Underworld series:

Love the Underworld movies (first 2 anyway)… glad to see 4 back on track... can't wait! Didn't even know they were making another.

Priest is terrible, worst movie I have seen in quite some time... Shame, because it had the potential to be a great movie...

Just watched Thor, really enjoyed it! Bring on the Avengers!

I was more disappointed in Thor rather than Priest. Priest had its short-comings but I found Thor to be confused as to what it wanted to be.

Thor to me was only mildly interesting…pretty dorky more than anything.

Not a shade on The Dark Knight or Iron Man - two movies I enjoyed even though comic book movies are not my thing.

Very much agreed.

i swear some of these old martial arts movies are so bad. some of the sound effects dont even match the action properly

Neither does the dubbing :sunglasses: watch some of Jackies movies when he was still in China….I saw one where he bashed up a room full of blokes because they said he had a bad singing voice
