Well the thread was about Mullaney not the game per se. If the thread was called Manly v Parra then I'd agree with it. Look I really don't care - I wasn't even watching the game that closely - but how much effort does it take to write a single word and show some courtesy? Sure this is a fairly minor spoiler but like I said it doesn't take much effort to tip people off.

Mullaney looks like he has put on a far bit of bulk from when I saw him last and maybe lost a bit of speed as a result. Now 22 years old he has waited a while to make his debut, did OK but looks like Sheens made the right call as he usually does on the ones he lets go.

if so, WITHOUT ANY BIAs, how would you rate mullaney's performance?
i only saw the last 5 minutes of 1st half… my brief brief brief summation was that he didn't look as energetic as a person making their first grade debut would be.. but the score was 32-0 so dont really blame him that much for that

I thought he played really well, good cover defence, has found the right mixture of size and speed and was always looking for an offload. He threw a good cut-out pass for an eels try as well. He should retain his spot somewhere in the 17

He played okay. When you're getting done 32-0 in the first half, there's basically nothing a full back can do.

Good, solid second half. I hope he makes it. Hodgo was small, but he got a chance. The young Souths half would never have got a run with us also the way we judge people….....and he's going great.

I only watched it on and off. He went okay considering Parra were just blown away in the first 45 minutes. Showed some nice footwork to score a try. Overall solid not brilliant.

His selection seems to point to Kearney's lack of faith in Luke Burt but having not seen Mullaney play for Wenty this year I couldn't comment on his form.
