Who do you rate as a better prospect?
Jake Mullaney or James Tedesco.

Long term Tedesco for sure due to his superior height and physique.
I`d like to see Jake Mullaney atleast be given a chance to see what he can do in first grade all the same.

After ONE game against a Storm outfit who played like busteds?

I don't rate Mullaney for first grade, but he monstered Toyota Cup while he was there - I'd rate him at this stage, although its bloody early days for Tedesco.

James Tedesco and David Nofoaluma are the two best outside back prospects we have had since Chris Lawrence.
Both are big, strong and fast and with their fair share of skill and football nous to go with it. I`ll be very, very surprised if they both don`t go on to become very good first grade footballers, I`m not sure how soon they will get there, but they will both make it.
 
Tedesco, at 17 he's bigger than Mullaney and knows his way to the tryline. Keen to see how he goes over the next couple of years because i reckon he'll be in FG before he turns 20.
 
difference between tedesco and mullaney is that tedesco has reguarly being playing jnr nsw and australian teams. whilst this doesnt mean he's a shore thing, i think it holds him in good stead.
 
James Tedesco is generally regarded as the best fullback of his age in the country from what I understand. Mullaney is good too but he doesn't have THAT pedigree.
 
Time will tell.. Mullaneys defence was non exsitant Tedesco certainly looks good but would like to see a bit more of him against a stronger opposition especially defensively before a comparison can be reached.
 
First time I've seen him.
From what i saw he is lightning quick and has good support play.

Just comparing what they have both achieved Tedesco looks like developing into the better long term prospect.

2008 Mullaney Age 18 in first year of SG Ball…..... Tedesco at age 15 represents SWSAS Academy side.

2009 Mullaney at 19 Plays first NYC game..had a great year and was Wests Tigers NYC player of the Year....... Tedesco Age 16 also had a great year and was Wests Magpies Harold Matts player of the year.

2010 Mullaney 20 had an injury plagued year in Wests Tigers NYC but always first choice fullback...... Tedesco at age 17 plays Under 18 SG Ball for Wests Magpies..Makes Australian Schoolboys.

2011 Mullaney age 21 makes Full time NRL squad playing NSW Cup...... Tedesco age 18 plays second year Wests SG Ball...plays first NYC game.

Got a run off the bench a couple of weeks back.. and was supposedly very good against the Warriors last week in the run on side.
 
James played 20 minutes against Newcastle and spent most of the time sliping over.
Went out and bought himself new boots. Started against Warriors and was Players player again started against Storm and was once again Players player. Always been able to step up to the next level with a bang just wish he would pull those socks up !
 
This is probably gonna sound stupid - but do they buy their own boots?

I thought they were sponsored by X-Blades or is that only the first grade side?
 
Knowing tigers, he will have a debut season in first grade become an obvious star of the future then we will buy someone for too much money . Whats the chance

Yes they can get free X-Blades but not all the players like the blades they prefer good old fashion studs
If they have a good Manager he would work something out elsewhere
