My 5yo daughter made an effort....

I couldn't attend Sunday's debacle as our car had died on the F3 freeway on the way to visiting my sister on Saturday night. I was stuck at her place, waiting for it to get fixed on Monday.

My wife and two young daughters had hitched a lift home with my mother.

Anyways, when my eldest daughter arrived home on Sunday afternoon, according to my wife, she drew 5 tigers to help the boys out. Sight unseen.

They turned the TV on and changed the channel to the footy to see the score at 0-8\. My daughter said to her mother "oh Daddy will be sad. I need to draw 20 tigers then" and got to work.

At this stage the channel was changed to something more child or Gummie wife friendly. A shortwhile later they changed the channel back and saw the score was now 0-20\. My daughter screamed! and then said to her mother "I had better hurry and draw more quickly".

This is her final result. I am framing it.

Notice that the Tigers are all smiling?

If that is not your desktop background on your computer RIGHT NOW then YOU HAVE NO SOUL.

what great spirit, and as the father of a five year old boy, that is some mighty fine drawing skills for a 5yr old.

Such is the innocence of a child. At least that would have given you something to smile about ST.

A crafty little artist too I might add, my art portfolio at age 5 consisted of poorly drawn stick figures!

Fantastic Post. Awesome Artwork.

Out of the mess comes some goodness that far outweighs anything on the field in my book. Each time we get done in the years ahead, look at your drawing and remember the important stuff in life.

Hopefully she will be drawing the same picture this Monday but the other way round!
C'mon boys!
