Very proud of the effort, our composure, or rather BJ's let us down in the end. We gave it a red hot crack but had some terrible calls go against us and some unfortunate injuries.

Also yes I'm proud. We didn't have the rub of the green at all. It felt like the ref was on our case all the time. How many times did he call us for walking off the mark? Yet Penrith did it and we were penalised.

The ref was terrible, we lose McIntyre to a high shoulder charge and did not even get a penalty. We lose Lucy to a high shot, granted a little unlucky, but the bottom line we lose half a bench to foul play. Also of course there were at least three crucial calls that were wrong in the second half.
He is a terrible ref and needs to be dropped

Yeah, the opening ten minutes had that classic look of a flogging, but we held them and fought back into the game. I don't think we were all that polished tonight, a lot of errors in the second half, and referees were way off and the panthers completed at a very high level with most things coming off. Disappointing not being able to build pressure in the second half and finish the game but that was a hell of a performance.

cant disagree more Joey is what we have needed for a decade. I dont condone what he did but the passion and aggression mean we arent walk overs anymore.

Ivan's antics show what he is, wouldn't want him as my coach. That said, we didn't finish the game well, definitely lost our cool after being victim of a few dog shots throughout the game. I still think we should have kept our cool and I don't think the fact we didn't helped us in the game. It's a shame the ref didn't have much control of the game, but we should be better than that.
