"NEVER WAS"

Sattler definitely wasn't, Hopoate, Prince, Fifita, Teo, Blair, Anasta, Ballin, Buettner, Cayless, Harris, Head, Moses and soon to be McQueen.

Looking through the list of WT players, there are a lot of players who never rose to any heights but apart from the earlier ones quoted by others I'd nominate:

Michael Buetttner, Scott Sattler, John Morris, Matthew Head, Daine Laurie, Jason Cayless, Andrew & David Fifita, Martin Taupau, Blake Austin, Moses Suli & Jeremy Marshall-King.

All in their own ways made their names elsewhere and came to WT either at start or end of careers, or simply blew threw with the wind on the way to somewhere else. Having said that they all had their moments- most of all I recall that look of absolute distain Matthew Head had on this face when Ben Teo tanked a tackle. On the plus side that great tackle of Sattler.

A little hard on Jeremy Marshall-KIng he was with us for quite a time just never really given the opportunity dont forget he was only on a 2nd tier contract with us for this year.Agree with the others

Lol
I suppose the only “true” Tigers are the ones who play for us for 10 years or so.

That narrows it down but then you have players that leave in a huff or throw hand grenades as they walk out the door.

Sheensie was a true Tiger, too.

Sucks.
Tigers fan from a youngen and I think his fams are big tigers fans.
He coulda been something special for us and a massive draw, franchise winger for us….
**But he wanted to develop his game in Melbourne away from distractions in Syd.
Such a shame.**

Hate to say it, but the smartest thing that kid could have done at the time.

Never a Tiger IMHO -

Braith Anasta, Adam Blair, Craig Field, Jason Cayless, Terry Hill, and currently - Chris McQueen and dare I say it - Tui Lolohea. - all felt/feel so…. "artificial" in Tigers colours.

We'll see how the latter two play out.

Not necessarily -

Honest toilers get my nod - e.g - Matthew Bell, Mitch Brown, Blake Ayshord - never spectacular, but never awful (Ayshford is just awful now)

Also - Lote Tuiqiri and Gareth Ellis - both not here for a long time, but both made significant impacts in Tigers colours.

You can add Reynolds as a soon to be.

Whats annoys me about Tedesco is the coaches kept on getting him to play the sweep plays. Jason Taylor especially did this. We all saw that he is most dangerous sniffing around the ruck and just running off forwards. Why cant coaches realise what we can obviously see?

It's not really an either/or. He should be both supporting up the middle and chiming into the back line on shifts and he was doing that very well in 2015 and 2016\. What changed in 2017 was that he stopped passing on sweep plays. I doubt that was coached.

If my memory serves me correctly i watched him carve up @ Matriville and Heffron then he was a shark not a tiger
