The big question for me with this expansion is whether there's enough talent to go around.

We already have the bottom few clubs in the league fielding what are close to reserve grade sides.

At the very minimum, the NRL needs to pump some money into junior development.

Since the under 20s comp was scrapped, there hasn't been much of an incentive for clubs to invest into developing talent.

We're odds on to lose Mikaele to them. Makes sense that he only signed a 1 year extension.

This is so poor. It's like they're afraid to tie the new team to a specific place. Between this and the original Dolphins bid suggesting that they would play out of Suncorp, occasional games at their own stadium, and potentially even a game on the Sunshine Coast, it's like they're having an identity crisis by trying to be everything to everyone.
