New Contract Extensions.

With our team going really well and some players staring to hit some good form, would you extend anyone's contract? For me I would extend…..

Simon Dwyer from 2011 - 2013
Mark Flanagan from 2010 - 2013
Liam Fulton from 2011 - 2013
Keith Galloway from 2011 - 2013
Chris Heighington from 2011 - 2013

I would upgrade Andrew Fifita to a long term deal to stop clubs like the Roosters and Manly renowned for poaching talent developed by other clubs.
 
Definitely top up Fafita's and add a few years onto it… 2013 / 2014
Flanagan and Fulton 2013
Ellis would be my number 1 priority! Extend till 2013/14
Moors and Dwyer 2013
 
TNT will come good again - Another year at this time of uncertanty would show loyalty from the club without being overly risky.
 
Heighno is with us until 2012 I think. Dwyer and Fulton I'd look at extending along with Fifita. The thing with Flanagan is that while he's looking alright so far, the Tigers have some very good backrowers coming through the grades, such as Dwyer and Schirnack which would have to be taken into consideration as the club has big wraps on these guys.
 
I think we have room for 5 or 6 backrowers in our squad. If we keep Heighington, Ellis, Fulton, Schirnack, Dwyer and Flanagan, we'd be able to play 3 in the starting team an 2 on the bench with one to cover bad form/injuries.
 
Jury is still on Flannagan for me.

He has started well but he's only had a handful of games and with like so many pommies consistency is a problem.
 
An extension to Ellis should be our number 1 priority. If he re-signs it will help us work out what other back rowers to keep. An extension to A Fifita and C Lawrence should also be high priorities
 
Chris Lawrence priorty number 1…..unless you want to cheer him on in a Souths jumper from 2012....

Souths would be struggling with the salary cap… oh sorry I forgot - the salary cap doesn't apply if Rusty wants them... 😕
