Agreed but u have said running into those kids so I’m assuming he’s only 17-18 and kid himself? Hopefully he can mature well if that’s the case and stay injury free and become our own NAS or papalli

I didnt say he's set the world on fire, play first grad, State of Origin or play for Australia .. i just said that the coach is impressed with his the agility the big bloke has and that he has been training the house down ..

Nuffin wrong with the young fellows training hard as impossible to impress the coach.

I remember way way way back when i was a young lad coming through .. i was keen as mustard to impress the coaches .. i was a young cocky forward smashing everyone, until one of the senior big bopper flattened me and said .. "go easy lad, rome wasnt built in one day" .. lol

I'm saying people need to look at the context of the opposition too. You could have a full strength side up against kids half their age and everyone would look like superstars.

Remember he's already played a full season of flegg and was solid but unspectacular playing against people his own age and size. I'd take a season of flegg over highlights from a trial as indicators of talent.

He has a lot of potential, a bit of a fui fui moi moi type nuggety prop. A bit bigger than Felix Smith too.

Actually no they don't ...Tedesco didn't make junior rep sides ...Willie Carne couldn't make his school 1st 15 .......I bet other on here know of other players


Hard work in the end is the difference ...everyone has to do it ...many junior superstars don't make it because they aren't prepared to work hard to make the next step

I vividly remember watching Tedesco score 5 tries or something in an under 20s match on a sunny Sunday afternoon standing on the hill at Leichhardt. It was against Melbourne I think, could tell he was going to be something special just off that vision alone

And I tend to agree on the last part. Jacob Loko was touted to be the next Israel Folau in juniors...All the talent in the world but was supposedly a lazy trainer. I’m not even sure where he’s at anymore
