I read earlier that some one suggested we copy the saints strategy by sticking to the same design forever. This would be silly as this is another revenue stream.

What does the new gayfl jerseys… the ones you just cannot stop fondling, have to do with tradition and imposing crowd images?

I agree with you these new ones for us if in fact theyre genuine - they look a step backwards, though jerseys do tend to look a lot different and often for the bettr in real life compared to a 2D image

one way to do this is have a home jersey which is a constant and then change the away jersey every couple of years. But since we're a merger it might be hard to find one jersey that everyone will agree with

The alternate one I can probably live with (and this coming from someone who doesn't generally like white jerseys for us) but the main jersey is waay too busy….get rid of the black wave thing along the top and make the V a bit less sharp and it would look a lot better.

Why not just a black jersey with a white and gold double V? Everyone relates to and loves the V since it has tradition within both Balmain and Wests. It would be simple and easy on the eyes.

Comparing the 10 year anniversary and the main jersey, there are lots of similarities.

I like the main one, but think the 10 year one should be our alternate.

It looks like some first year intern has thrown it together on photoshop using parts of lesser jerseys, namely the terrible 10 Year strip.

they were FINALLY heading in the right direction with the 2008-2010 design and now this!

Tend to agree, the simplicity of this year's kit was excellent. I find it difficult to believe that they would want to revert to a strip that is so busy, where angles and colours clearly collide. Please tell me they won't use gold as the primary colour in the socks?

The sea of orange has been missing from liechhardt with everyone opting for the White/Black jerseys. So it's great to see a main jersey that has some style about it.

Do you think the top curve around the neck is meant to resemble a bird? and obviously the V to a point is the claws. Quite clever if so.
