I think it's just easier to take the 600K….Humphery's ,,,,I'm hoping will try a bit harder........From what I know of him he seems to know what he's doing...

That $600k is a mighty big carrot because it is guaranteed income. I don't know how the Tigers could get that much out of Campbelltown or Leichardt. It would be great if both grounds seriously raked in the dough, but they don't. Not sure what the solution is, but Humphreys and co. might be able to look into alternative revenue options.

Yeah I understand why the club does it…the SCG trust must be getting something out of the deal otherwise....thanks for giving us the ground for free....

I would think the costs of Leichhardt and Campbelltown would have stabalised...both ground ave roughly 15,000 in crowds when we have been losing this year if you take away freebies family tickets school passes etc ...say you average $6.50 profit a ticket...thats 100k right there for 6 games gives you 600K Im not convinced but I reckon if you played more at Leichardt and Campbelltown....and improved on field performance which is the huge x factor...Crowds ave may even increase...

The one problem I do see is the catering to the corporates is far better at the WSFS that Leichhardt and Cambo could ever hope for but stuff them I say it's the peoples game afterall...I'm would hope Proton and the other sponsers would love it just as much at Leichhardt amd Cambo anyway...

I know this is probably blasphemy but if it meant a 6x6 split could we consider naming rights for the 2 grounds, a minimum $300K sponsorship for each ground would cover the costs and allow us to play at both grounds (and I am sure the two respective councils would like the extra revenue from this as well).

Now stop coming up with sensible credable ideas…Wests Tigers Management may log in here and claim them as there own...

I think it's a brilliant idea Creagus make sure you spell your name correctly when you email the club <khumphreys@weststigers.com.au>Thanks quintas</khumphreys@weststigers.com.au>

Would there be much backlash from Campbelltown, though? The grounds only about 24 years old. Leichhardt in terms of historical value might be different, but if playing 6 games a year means we have to license out the names, then they can call it Carefree Tampon Oval for all I care.

Don't give a stuff what they call the grounds they will always be Leichhardt and Cambpelltown to me…don't think the punters of any of of fanbases would care either do you if we are getting 600k so where a chance of playing more games there....Why are people from Campbelltown any different to Leichhardt who support the tigers anyway....

Wonder how much Oki tip in to St George Illawarra I mean Kogarah...

Mate.... we are Wests Tigers why have do you care so much for the feelings of supporters from Campbelltown/?

actually… chris the rhino is a campbelltown boy ...but who cares .....
a6/6 SPLIT IS THE ONLY FAIR WAY .....BUT ID GO FURTHER AND HAVE 12 AT 1 HOME GROUND ,,, and i couldnt give a stuff which one it was ....

there will be hard decisions to make, not only in relation to home ground games allocations.
.would not be suprised if there were changes insome areas the management of the club as well. e.g coaching staff, recruitment. :unamused:
