Pluto was downgraded to a new group called "Dwarf Planet". This was done because there are several other planetoids that have recently been discovered in the solar system and a line had to be drawn.
The current definition of a planet:
A celestial body that is (a) in orbit around the Sun, (b) has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a hydrostatic equilibrium (nearly round) shape, and © has cleared the neighbourhood around its orbit.
Pluto and the few other dwarf-planets have failed to achieve (c).

These images are actually not photographs, they are computer generated images of what the planet may look like.
I don't know exactly how the look of the images are decided, but is has something to do with the ability to determine the major chemical elements that make up the composition of the planet.
So maybe someone on here needs to get in contact with these scientists and get them to add Tigers banners to the next image. Because as we all know, out of all the teams on Earth, the Aliens are sure to support the Mighty Tigers!!!
