If a player is injured, and you know he's injured because he leaves the field when otherwise he wouldn't and he is in risk of not playing next week, then you would think they would double check how he was injured, and then publicly announce that's what they've done.
It's not rocket science. It's having some accountability, it's treating your public with some respect and transparency. Don't pick flaming three incidents from over 640 minutes of football, and think you've done a good job covering it all. You haven't.
