New WT 2015 ISC Jersey Range

Maybe we need a new logo. Perhaps a magpie standing on the back of a tiger on all four legs.

Deadset sick of all this wests/balmain rubbish.

Stop with this Magpies nonsense, we're one team. The TIGERS.
It's different but I'm more worried about how we play in the nines.

If they removed the Tiger would you think that is OK too ? Part of the JV agreement is that the Magpie is to be on the jerseys.

So stop with the "Stop the Magpies nonsense" Previously apologies have had to be made for 'forgetting' the Magpie !

Lol, are you even aware what our team name is?

This must be a joke. Where is the Magpie ?

Seriously, why is the Magpie missing. Not good enough. Time for a quick email to Mr Mayer.

Do you want a tissue ?

I think they are awesome

As for the Magpie the JV agreement called for a magpie to be put on the sleeve of the jersey. As the jersey has no sleeve thier is no requirement for a magpie

Where is the balmain logo on any jersey is my question

The sleeveless jersey looks great a great talking point and sales ploy I will be buying one even if the Magpie has been retired for a weekend, I like the new way the club is thinking new designs and concepts . A new logo as someone noted a Tiger with a Magpie in its mouth!

as for all this AFL rubbish

touch footy is quite well known to play in singlets too, as is basketball.

people getting a bit too worked up over us playing in 'AFL' jerseys…

NBA often has games where players all play in sleeved jerseys, very similar to NRL ones, rather than sleeveless.

I asked this once before but what is the ISC jersey material like?

Is it as thick as the Xblades ones?

Are they all made out of the same material or are some different?

So Soft, are you saying that it's as thick as a cloak but soft as fur?

I don't mind it. A bit of fun for a nothing tourney.

Shame they left out the pie…they must know by now the issues that will cause. Stupid error which makes me think there are still clowns involved at the club.

Maybe they thought it was a non issue, which is what it is really….the only clowns are those still up in arms over something as trivial as this

Its not up to me to judge what ruffles folks feathers…that'd be arrogant.

It's an easy issue to avoid by simply chucking the bird on the jersey. Like it or not, 15 years on its a part of wests fibre.

Buttttt like I said, bit of fun for a nothing comp. doubt it would happen for the big show.

Judging by the variations in reaction to the white/grey and the auckland nines jerseys, i'd say they're targeting the younger generation and more pure "wests tigers" supporters with those designs.

Everyone I've spoken to that is younger than 25 or there abouts has loved the grey NRL jersey. I've even recieved two messages from non Tiger supporters who loved the black auckland nines strip.

Perhaps the heritage, anzac and main strips are the ones their using to persuade older generation supporters into purchasing a jersey.

I for one am struggling to decide which jersey to buy for the upcoming season…

Tony, much like you at first I hated the white jersey but it has definitely grown on me and I I have grown to like it a lot, even more than the ANZAC one which I was initially going to purchase but now I will purchase the white one. It's a new clean look. Most of my friends like it too and no we are not in our 20s. But to be honest all the jersey's look great. I like the new initiatives the club is making to produce new appealing merchandise. I remember a few years ago the stuff at the store was absolutely dreadful.

As for the 9's jersey I don't really like the design but I don't have any fuss whatsoever with no sleeves. That is just being pedantic over an irrelevant 9's tournament in the middle of summer for crying out loud. Even in the NBA they're jerseys have sleeves now.

The sleeve thing is really a non-issue.

Of course people of all ages will have different tastes and preferences. I was just making an assumption based on how certain jerseys have been recieved by supporters of different ages. I could be completely wrong though..

With the whole sleeves thing, it is only an issue because it's something different. If other teams had done it first then it would be a non-issue. I'm not usually fussed by these small things, but i must admit the singlet idea took me by surprise because it was so unique.
