Next 2 games are crucial for Jason Taylor

Does our full strength team next week include Farah somewhere in the 17\. I don't think so. We are playing on a Saturday only three days after SOO and Farah should be rested to allow Ballin to play. This decision I believe is the crucial test for Taylor.

One game at a time for me…but I hear what you're saying.

How crazy are the NRL draws these days? I can't believe you play teams twice in the space of a month before facing all the teams once. Ridiculous.

too early Happy to make a call on that - but yes - it's in the back of the mind for sure - you're always one step ahead Happy -

Good to see you back ya mad bugger AHX

Where you been , incarcerated with Hobbo ??

To me Taylor should be under the microscope every week. I rate our squad. I think a significant reason for our underperformance so far this year and last year has been Taylor.

Taylor needs to get it right. We need to win games. If so he should be given more time as coach. If not he should go.

We still need to find a way to cancel out that -86 from the Raiders and Dogs games

If we finish on 28 points we will need a positive for and against to make the 8 in my opinion

I agree that could be the killer if we do come back into form. -86 is a steep hill to climb.

The secret to any success is getting some consistency going, by that I mean narrowing the gap between your good games and your not so good games, and frankly that is something we have not had for years. The last few weeks there has been some improvement in that area but two games is hardly a good indication. After the Raiders and Bulldog games I am still very nervous there is always a shocker around the corner. In saying that the addition of Balin and Taylor, two very professional footballers might limit the chances of this happening.

Anyway to answer Eddie's post, yes the next two weeks are crucial, but so are every other week. We have a little hint of momentum going, so lets hope we keep it going because once it stops, its hard to get going again

Seeing that Brisbane have three loses for a total of -3

Be nice wouldn't it

I doubt Brisbane fans are loving it, but then they have different expectations compared to us…

Yes I believe the next two weeks will show how far we've come in the last month. It can go one of two ways, which way we go is s mystery to me. I felt the Newcastle win as a loss and a great effort against the Bronx. Still too rocks and diamonds for my liking but think we will find out in our first half against the chooks IMO.

Good news re: Tedesco - Daley was on NRL360 and mentioned that Moylan would be in the NSW team for game 2 unless he gets injured.

I think the next two games are important in terms of getting ourselves into a position to compete for the bottom of the eight but other than that, they are just the same as the remainder of the season - we need to be consistent and win as many as games as possible. I would love to see us tighten our defense and execute better in attack but I don't think we can do it with our halves. They are just not there yet and, at the moment are a weak link with their lack of direction and poor kicking games. Hope I'm wrong!
