Next Big Signing?

Was tossing up whether to make a topic of this or not….

Since the rumors that Tuiaki wont be returning are getting stronger and stronger... should the Tigers start looking into signing a well known winger?

Or just keep faith in our current talent in ryan, daniela, latu, brown etc. ?

If Tuiaki cant return, we got "keep the faith" (Bon Jovi are our celebrity fans :stuck_out_tongue🙂 in our current talent. Ryan has shown his determination to play for us, hes just got to turn it into onfield performance.

Other than that, who would we target? Pat Richards would be nice ahahaha!

I think we already have some excitement machines sitting below those boys. Guys like Clarke, Kamuta etc are gona be knocking on the door well before the 2011 Finals…

Or, we go all out and sign Jarel Yow Yeah for 2012???

I'd be very happy not to sign another winger and save the dough for a good prop in 2012.

We have plenty of talent to fill that wing spot in fact after the way some of those guys finished off the season I'd say the tank would have his work cut out…..

Locking Rowdy up on a long term contract is priority no1 and the Polar Bear from England (James Grahame) must be no2.Really with the amount of elite players we have on our books our cap would be almost stretched to the limit

No more outside backs. We have plenty of depth in our top 25 and even at State and NYC level. Agree with supercoach on upgrading Rowdy & head hunting Graham. Our forward pack would be amazing.

8\. Graham
9.Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Fulton
13\. Heighington

14\. Fafita
15\. Dwyer
16\. Payten
17\. Gibbs

That would come close to the best all round forward pack that the NRL has got.

100%

We got the factory working overtime developing prospects in almost every position.

No more outsiders really needed though as above I would love James Graham to join us some of our big men ride off into the sunset over the next few years..

James Graham would be my pick too, but do we even need him? Our prop stocks are looking quality too with Fifita, Woods & even murdoch.

I read the other day that Glen Hall was back from the UK with his pregnant wife. Manly can't fit him under the cap* so he is a free agent. From memory, he was not spectacular, just a solid first grade interchange player. He would be handy if cheap.

*can only assume Watmough is on $2m per season, hell knows how they have no room under the cap with that roster

I cant remember Glen Hall - So I'd pass

I like the 4 prop rotation thing

Gall, Payto, Gibbs, Graham + fifita and Woods… The the rest of the juniors in there somewhere

Tigers not doing to bad in the Big man department

Its an interesting note you make there Gary. Outside of the Stewart brothers, Watmough, King, Kite, Matai, David & Tony Williams and maybe Matt Ballin, who else in that side would be on more than $150,000 a year?

Bailey has gone to ESL I think and Jamie Lyon was an obvious omission. My bad.

Manly paid overs for Tony Williams, paid extra for the Stewart brothers back when they were good, as with David Williams. Whatever they are paying King they are getting ripped off on, as Kite.
Sod them. They get what they deserve.
