I actually think the same.
Douehi getting a good percent of votes tells us that you hardly need a handful games here anyway before you earn respect.

Must be 11 Lebanese guys on the forum voting for him...

As of writing 11 votes for Doueihi...

Can't understand the love for him...will end up NRL's biggest plodder in a year or 2.

I'm a skip but I vote for Doueihi. You have to admire his show of emotion last game. As a benefit, he is a great footballer.

10 Lebanese guys and 1 Aussie then...I wasn't impressed by his crying, nor do I think he's a great footballer.

I wonder what you'd say if every week we were flogged by 40 and 17 blokes stood out on the field and cried about it?

Crying over a football game means you're broken...you have lost control of your emotions and you've fallen into a heap. He needs to get his head right...

You ever considered that the Lebanon tragedy plus the covid stuff got to him? He’s a young guy let’s not forget and in the second half was good.

At the very least it shows he cares about our club being successful

He's got no family in Lebanon...his crying shows nothing

Neither do I and as a Lebanese man I know it affected me, and he said it affected him and his family too. If you’re not Lebanese you don’t have the right to tell us whether we are allowed to care about it or not yeah? Cool.

Bring in the covid bubble probably escalated all his emotions as well. Have some empathy and realise he’s just a good, he’s got a great attitude and he’s a solid player who will only continue to improve

This whole "you don't get to tell me" thing is BS.

I'm of another culture and I have been in the same boat where something has happened overseas - It doesn't affect me like that.

Are you saying Lebanese people are more sensitive?

Just because YOU feel a certain way doesn’t mean everyone else has to mate. You don’t get to tell people that they should or shouldn’t be upset by something. Grow up champ.

My experience is just as valid as yours "champ"

Are you telling me you spent the week crying when you heard the news about Lebanon?

Give me a break...

I didn’t cry but I’m also not locked in a covid bubble and got thumped 44-4 in a game of footy.

Again, just because YOU had a certain experience doesn’t mean everyone else has to. Everyone reacts differently to emotion simple as that

Seemed fine in the second half after he had a word to Madge. I’m sure he’s fine if the boys are getting around him as well. As long as he stays safe at the back then I’m happy - was good to see him take down Ponga in open field as well, made me a little less worried about his defence.

Josh Aloiai.
Speaks very well, and displays undisputed passion.

Watching a clip on the Channel 9 footy show. Outstanding, watch on Nine App if you miss it.

Everyone is different, showing emotion doesn’t prove that one person is weaker than another. It’s just another method of expressing it.

Great...so it's ok to have 17 grown men sobbing after losses then? Give me a break.

I wasn't encouraged by his reaction...

What difference does it make if he was crying?

Apparently he might have cried at half time and he cried after the game. So what.

It wasn't as if he was crying whilst trying to catch the ball, couldn't see it through
his tears and he dropped it.

If you don't like him, don't rate him, think he stinks, that's all ok - say it.

However, using his crying and emotion as a reason for getting rid of him is
pretty weak in my opinion.
