Next season

@Flippedy,was wondering where you were..dozing again I bet :astonished:
What do you think of Sirronen on the bench to start and Tapau in the backrow, his speed and enthusiasm playing out wide would be awesome, just a thought until we know who stays and who goes..

I want every player to rip in every game with a do or die (no holds barred) siege mentality .

Taupau isn't a backrower

He doesn't have the workrate

Another season coming off the bench and build his motor up

If Keefy can't find a bit of speed , Ava would be my starter with Woods and Lodge off the bench

Personally I can see the wheel turning with more sizable back rowers Look at clubs like the Cowboys ,Roosters ,Dogs ,Souths

They all have more than one back rower on the bench

Cowboys sometimes have 3

Happy,Tapau on the bench or front row you reckon, gee he can put them in when he comes on,I still think even though he is good up the middle I would like him to have a crack out wide.

No reason you can't have him attacking out wide from prop

You just wouldn't want him out wide for long periods , the more he gets involved in tight the better

@ Happy if he is a closet Broncos supporter ,then he is in the best place for him…the closet.I was getting fond of Flip and his comments, now you tell me we are his second choice of friends...

Don't listen to Happy, TT he's a Queenslander! Wouldn't know crap from clay - they all live in some kind of fantasy world up there and make up stories

I do agree with him about Tapau though - he is and out and out prop and because of his great impact off the bench, I would leave him there for now. I'd be reluctant to try him in the second row at this stage, but I see where you're coming from. However, I think we have enough second row options - they just need to start firing!

Nofo and Fine may be a good centre pairing. Nofo can run some great lines, similar to how Lawrence once did.
Seems we haven't got the most out of Nofo and Simona this year. Speed out wide in Simona seems like what we need.
Richards on the other wing. If Moltzens retained some speed he may even go well on the wing also.
It seems like we gained the ability to dominate up the middle there for a bit, but lost our traditional strength of being able to spread it wide and run round teams. Obviously Lawrence's loss of pace didn't help.

@ Happy you sucked me in,Flip reckons you live in a fantasy world, get out of there and back in our world,he does have a valid point about Marty I suppose, playing him out wide would be a waste as he is solid up the middle. It was only food for thought because he has some speed and I thought he may make an impact a bit out wider and we do have plenty of back row options. :sunglasses: :sign:

@Flip and Happy,if our forward pack have a great off season, depending on who stays or goes and the new coach can get them firing and on the same page,I reckon they will be a force to reckon with and could surprise a few of the bigger packs in the NRL. The team showed early on what they can do,and barring injuries as in 2014 we can have a good crack, even a top 8 finish wouldn't be beyond them, geez I bet if you asked the Doggies, Souths or Manly who shook them up the most in 2014 they would say the Tigers hurt them the most…..

However we need a strong tackling second rower with a high work rate- something that disappeared when Fulton retired. That really showed up in the back end of the season

Guyofthetiger, agree with you on Sirro,I would like him in the backrow all season as he is young and still learning,he can make a big impact in that position and he is still developing…cheers..

@razor7,quite agree with the loss of Fulton fantastic work rate and non stop for 80 minutes, however someone may step up and fill the void left by him and I think Sirro with further developement may come good,he did play with Fults on a number of occasions and sometimes the work ethic can rub off.We will have to wait and see…go the mighty Wests Tigers in 2015 and beyond....
