Next weeks team against the bunnies

1\. Moltzen 2\. Tuqiri 3.Lawrence 4\. Reddy 5.Ryan 6\. Marshall 7.Miller 8.Woods 9.Politini 10.Galloway if fit 11.Ellis 12.Blair 13 Fulton. 14\. Bell 15.Ayshford 16.Groat 17\. Masala. Maybe this team can do something but depends on Galloway & Lotti being fit.

i think the problem is that blair & heigno are out there for the full 80.They definantly can play 80 min of sheer pressence on the field but i think their better served playing 60 of quality.

Sir Timothy Sheens team:
Unchanged line up.

Didn't think Fulton did that bad we were at our strongest with him on the park, especially the first half.
With Lote back for the Bunnies I'd have Ryan at FB and shift Moltz in NSW Cup for a couple of weeks. He needs confidence. We need to reset our balance and put Ellis back on the left with Lawrence and Lote. Stick Blair on the right handside with Aysford and Reddy that's a pretty solid right edge. If they remember how to tackle.

Keep Benji and Miller together, Miller showed more promise in one half than Moltz has in the first 3 games. Keep Fulton at 9 and I'd start with Bell and Woods keeping Heino at 13.

Ryan
Aysford
Reddy
Lawrence
Lote
Marshall
Miller
Woods
Fulton
Bell
Blair
Ellis
Heino

Groat

Moors

The team will be released last and be a cut and paste job of this weeks team

Well to be fair it's not a longtime to think and release. I expect mostly the same team that will dramatically change by Sunday

I don't think the backs have been all that bad, By no means have they been good but they haven't been horrible.

There would have been 3 or 4 more trys last night if not for Moltzen, Reddy, and Ryan.
Asyhford and Lawarance have been below par but that haven't been given much quality ball.
IMO miller played ok for his first game of the year and behind a smashed forward pack.

The forwards have been the problem. Blair looks lost. Woods and Groat look like boys.

I would go with

1\. Moltzen
2\. Ryan
3\. Asyford
4\. Lawrance
5\. Reddy
6\. Marshall
7 Miller/Humble
8\. Woods
9\. Politini
10\. Bell
11\. Ellis
12\. Heighington
13\. Fulton

14\. Miller/Humble
15\. Blair
16\. Murdoch-Masila
17\. Moors
18\. Groat

Wow. Seriously they have lost 3 in a row. The 1st loss was Vs Manly and was not a bad performance. The next two games - terrible yes. However, I remember last year, going into a game Vs Souths…under the pump from all and sundry and came out winners. I know people have a lot of reasons to be upset but give 'em till the Souths game - if they lose that then go hell for leather. I think the team this week will be the same, except Ellis and Blair will play in the front row (at different stages) and fulton to the back row with Politini to bench to cover the hooking role.

I can say this - things will get better.

C'mon Flip That's not the right attitude If we don't care why should the players Buck up Brother Uus older folk have got to set a positive tone We have seen how a supposedly bad season can turn around

Ok fair enough, Happy, but it's gonna take me some time before I begin to feel positive again. Right now I'm just :rant

From NRL.com - Miller axed, Ayshford and Groat benched. Good start. Maybe this will worry Lawrence and make him play to potential. Tuqiri return

Dual international Lote Tuqiri will make his long-awaited return from a wrist injury when he starts for Wests Tigers in their NRL clash with South Sydney on Sunday.

Tuqiri will play his first match since undergoing wrist reconstruction surgery in December.

His inclusion is the most notable change to the side that was beaten 30-16 by Canberra on Monday night.

Tigers coach Tim Sheens has reacted sternly to the loss, with halfback Jacob Miller axed and Blake Ayshford and Matt Groat both benched.

Tom Humble has been given the all-important job partnering Benji Marshall in the halves.

Joel Reddy will move to the centres from the wing to replace Ayshford.

Team announced

WESTS TIGERS: Tim Moltzen, Beau Ryan, Joel Reddy, Chris Lawrence, Lote Tuqiri, Benji Marshall, Tom Humble, Aaron Woods, Liam Fulton, Matt Bell, Adam Blair, Gareth Ellis, Chris Heighington. Interchange: Sean Meaney, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Matt Groat, Blake Ayshford

Matt Bell in?? Why not Moors? Meaney still there…..

Woods better get some discipline this week...from nrl.com -

"Sheens bemoaned the 9-3 penalty count against his against the Raiders, but was forced to concede indiscipline was a problem.

Woods has been one of the worst offenders, being caught offside four times in the past two matches."

Not to mention he holds down attack too long for another penalty
