Brady Vs Mahomes. The beauty of superstars in key positions 🤔

Tyreek had a whale of a game too. Bucs have done well to get there but IMO Chiefs have too many good players on both sides of the ball. Surprised to hear KC were ranked last in the NFL for red-zone defence though.

It’s amazing how one key and marquee player can change the fortunes of a whole organisation!
Bradley has done this ,who would of thought the Buccaneers would be in the super bowl ... my money was on the cheese heads unfortunately!
The chiefs next week ..

I don’t know about one marquee player though, he’s got Gronk, Brown and Fournette but yeah, bloke made a bit of a difference.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kansas win again.

Would prefer to see Brady lose again. :grinning:

My thoughts exactly!

In 15 years time there will be debate as to who is the GOAT ala Jordan or LeBron in the NBA, it will be Brady or Mahomes. Many will come back to this Super Bowl for their answer. Should be one for the ages. Can’t wait!!

It’s also the first time the host city team has made the Super Bowl. It’ll be interesting to see if the home crowd has an influence.

The NFL is likely to cap attendance at 22,000 despite Florida currently allowing stadiums to be filled to capacity. Capacity of the stadium is 65,000 with the ability to expand to 75,000.

Probably too late, but Im keen to try to get into this sport. How do you guys suggest I start?

When does the season start? What websites should I linger at to get a feel?

There is a bucket load of content on YouTube. I really got into it after picking a team (Rams), did some research on their history etc, got to know the players etc. in YouTube, I like Undisputed, The Herd, rich Eisen show, first things first, speak for yourself. You can kill a lot of time following the game. I’m still learning the game and the more you learn the more enjoyable it becomes.

Pretty sure the season usually starts around the first week of September. 17 games in a season with 1 of them being a bye, then 3 weeks of playoffs before a fortnight break before the Superbowl.
There would be thousands of websites providing good info, the only one I really know about is NFL.com. A few of the fellas on here are right into it and always provide good advice and tips about the whole sport. Enjoy!

Never too late.

I'd start by watching the Superbowl in 2 weeks time, maybe even choose one of the teams to follow. Do what @BAGNF05 suggested and spend the 2 weeks learning a little about them.

Thanks mate. I might pick three teams. The team I have always sort of followed (very distantly) is the Bengals for obvious reasons. The other team I like is the Raiders because my favourite musician followed them and I had a jersey in the Oakland '80's.

Both of these teams I understand to be rubbish so I might try to pick a good team as well (I have earned that after following the TIgers all my life).

Who would be some just below the top teams to follow. Not green bay because I dont want to be a full bandwagoner,

I spend almost as much time on Bengals forums as I do on here lol.

Right now Kansas wouldn't be a bad team to start following, they have the new superstar QB that is going t dominate for the next 10+ years. He does have such a punchable face in my opinion though.

Thank you Bagnf05, FTB and Cochise for your help.

No worries, I think the Bengals could be on the up after drafting their franchise QB last year and should get him some help this draft. Raiders seem a bit like WT just middle of the road with the odd surprise.

Outside of the obvious top teams I think the Colts could improve next year and maybe the Chargers in the AFC. In the NFC I don’t see as much coming up but the Cardinals and 49ers will be interesting to follow. The Packers is a good soap opera for the off-season.
