NFL Season 2021

I support Weststigers (10 years playoff drought) and Sacramento Kings (15 year playoff drought) so looking forward to the NFL season where my team has a good chance to make the finals.. Patriots for me and I think a few of the top teams will regret not picking Mac Jones up. He looks the goods to me even though not athletic for Qtr back but a very good passer and fingers crossed the Tom Brady replacement for the long term.

I support the Wests Tigers, we all know the history there.

I support the Bengals who haven't won a playoff game since 1991, that's right 30 years.

This is my third year as a Bengal. What made you follow them? Was the obvious Tigers link?

Oh god.... At least you made 7 Wildcard games in the last 15 years even though you lost them all.
I am loving the new "Play in" rules for the NBA so if you get 9th or 10th in the conference you get a chance to sneak in..
We deserve some luck soon mate as we have well and truly earned it :face_with_rolling_eyes:

A very long and detailed story to be honest. I started following the game in the late 80s as about a 10 year old. Don Lane used to have an hour long recap show on the ABC. The Bengals made 2 Superbowls in 1988 and 89 losing them both, sound familiar? I then played madden for the 1st time around 1990 and the Superbowls and the Tigers link decided to play as them once they were included. I followed them through the 90s through scores in the paper and eventually following the scores online, though didn't miss much as they were horrible the entire 90s.

With the arrival of Carson Palmer in 2005, I started downloading games illegally to watch and then transitioned to NFL Gamepass and haven't missed a Bengals game in well over a decade. I attended my 1st and only Bengals game for the season opener in Cleveland in 2011, Andy Dalton and Green's 1st games. We got a win that day and made the playoff for the following 6 season and losing the wildcard game each time.

I now spend as much time on a Bengals forum as I do here and follow them just as closely as the Wests Tigers.

I was a massive Sonics fan before they relocated to Oklahoma. Gave up watching the sport for a number of years until I went to NY in 2016 and saw the Knicks live at the Garden. Was such an amazing atmosphere.

Word on the street is within the next couple seasons. Seattle has built a new dual purpose arena for their new NHL franchise Seattle Kraken and NBA looking to expand again. Sonics listed in the top 3 candidates to be included.

Your story is pretty much identical to mine. Only instead of Bengals I luckily chose New Orleans Saints because of the Black and Gold connection. While the 90’s were horrible, things turned when we landed Drew Brees in ‘03. It’s been mostly winning seasons since then… The Don Lane recap show was brilliant. They showed all the highlights except for Monday Night Football where Don just read out the score.

Looking like another long season for my Falcons. I need to find new sports to follow, hopefully I will eventually follow a successful team in some sport.

Interesting to see if Lance or JG starts Game 1.

I supports
wests tigers
Sacramento Kings
Buffalo Bills (remember Kelly and the 7 superbowl losses)

A struggling collection lol
Bills might go OK?

I lived in Cleveland when the Browns were moved to Baltimore, so my Ohio team were the Bengals. I was won over by Jeff Blake and carl Pickens long range combo. Up until that point I'd been a patriots fan due to living in Boston. Was young enough to not have much loyalty. But the patriots were rubbish when I supported them, then when I switched they went on to be one of the most dominant teams ever. Bengals meanwhile... I blame me.
