I supports
wests tigers
Sacramento Kings
Buffalo Bills (remember Kelly and the 7 superbowl losses)

A struggling collection lol
Bills might go OK?

I hope we trade Buddy Held soon as we have 3 very good guards now and could use help in the forwards..

Feel for you mate as I at least have had Patriots win SB's

Boom, bring it lads. Massive 9ers fan here and still salty as after losing to KC couple seasons ago. Lance seems to settling in nicely too.

Another niner here,
Will never be able to rewatch that super bowl, so close
Interesting to see if Lance or JG starts Game 1.

Yeah that hurt so bad, I honestly felt they'd go on with it. To rub salt into wounds the SB function I was watching it at had a table full of bandwagon KS fans who clearly knew zip about the sport. They were dead quiet when 9ers were in front then began carrying on like a bunch of arrogant pork chops after the game.

Couple of them got all up in my face for no other reason other than they could tell I was a gutted 9ers fan. Even after my mates and I moved on to a local pub the same blokes were there carrying on to get a reaction out of other 9ers fans.

My head says Jimmy G starts week 1 however his time will be ticking if he doesn't produce immediately. Don't be surprised to see both he and Lance used in tandem at times depending on the situation.

Agree, i cans see JG starting and Lance coming for set plays.
Hoping Lance gets more game time this weekend with most of the No 1 starters playing. Needs the reps with the No 1 offence. ????

Yeah he has struggled a little in the pocket so far with the OL leaking and collapsing around him. He'll definitely benefit from more protection. He does seem to ooze composure though which is great.

Pretty handy dilemma to have though having to decide who to start from JG or Lance. One telling factor I've noticed in both pre-season matches so far is receivers seem to struggle taking Lance's passes. Many dropped catches on his arm seem to have been very catchable which is odd. I've read a few articles suggesting his pass velocity is like a rocket. Hopefully just a bit of rust by the receivers and nothing more. Pretty excited for the regular season to start.

Looking like another long season for my Falcons. I need to find new sports to follow, hopefully I will eventually follow a successful team in some sport.

The Denver Broncos are always an option.

I support the Wests Tigers, we all know the history there.

I support the Bengals who haven't won a playoff game since 1991, that's right 30 years.

This is my third year as a Bengal. What made you follow them? Was the obvious Tigers link?

A very long and detailed story to be honest. I started following the game in the late 80s as about a 10 year old. Don Lane used to have an hour long recap show on the ABC. The Bengals made 2 Superbowls in 1988 and 89 losing them both, sound familiar? I then played madden for the 1st time around 1990 and the Superbowls and the Tigers link decided to play as them once they were included. I followed them through the 90s through scores in the paper and eventually following the scores online, though didn't miss much as they were horrible the entire 90s.

With the arrival of Carson Palmer in 2005, I started downloading games illegally to watch and then transitioned to NFL Gamepass and haven't missed a Bengals game in well over a decade. I attended my 1st and only Bengals game for the season opener in Cleveland in 2011, Andy Dalton and Green's 1st games. We got a win that day and made the playoff for the following 6 season and losing the wildcard game each time.

I now spend as much time on a Bengals forum as I do here and follow them just as closely as the Wests Tigers.

Your story is pretty much identical to mine. Only instead of Bengals I luckily chose New Orleans Saints because of the Black and Gold connection. While the 90’s were horrible, things turned when we landed Drew Brees in ‘03. It’s been mostly winning seasons since then… The Don Lane recap show was brilliant. They showed all the highlights except for Monday Night Football where Don just read out the score.

I really hope the Bengals first contact in D has improved, it was awful last year. I usually record a couple of games per week on ESPN and watch them back. I’m still learning the game but I really do love how every play in D and O has such a big impact on the next play. Did we make the right draft picks?

Be interesting to see how Jordan Mailata goes for the Eagles this season. He's all but guaranteed a starting role which will bring a massive upgrade in his contract. To think he'd never even played the game till a few yrs ago is remarkable given his position is one of the most complex to master.

I really wanted Sewell, the Oline was critical for us but at the time of the draft thought it was a pass mark. Of course our picks are cursed and Ossai is out for the season and Chase has had a case of the drops. I am also very worried about the rumours surrounding Chase as well.

Going to follow this nfl season exactly how i followed the nba season this year

Just watch the daily highlights / top plays of the dag and week

As well as extended highlights of every jags game

I found this helped me learn a lot more about teams and player names etc

Follow the draft process mate you will learn a lot about the players across the league.

Couple of sites I have found since joining dynasty fantasy leagues.

Draft kings & pro football network.

Next week is interesting as this in when rosters need to be cut down to the final 53. Up to 27 players from each team getting cut by Tuesday US time

I have got the free access for the pre season games. Not sure I can justify paying for it when there is a fill of games on fox & the tab website shows all games (but don't think you can cast).

Sewell having his struggles also, though early days in New position.
Ossai looked awesome but curse has struck. Although Carl Lawson also done his Achilles at the Jets.
Chase looks to have hands like mck. Which is a problem when catching is your job.
Jackson Carmen struggling but Smith and udfa Darius Hodge are impressing.

You should join the Bengals forum, thebengalsboard.com I don't post a lot over there but it helped me learn more about the game.

Just might do that…cheers. What do you reckon about our draft picks?

I really wanted Sewell, the Oline was critical for us but at the time of the draft thought it was a pass mark. Of course our picks are cursed and Ossai is out for the season and Chase has had a case of the drops. I am also very worried about the rumours surrounding Chase as well.

Chase dropped another bad one today
