@cochise Prediction for the games against the Vikings?

I'm going real pessimistic because I can't bear having expectations anymore and I have no belief in Zac or Mike Brown: Guessing we lose 31-17 with offense not getting going due to bad Oline and Defense having quality patches but not being able to stop the Vikings at important times. Chase will be contained but won't have major drops.

I'm tipping us to get up, more start of season excitement than any belief we will genuinely be much better this year.

Will be avoiding this thread on Monday until I get a chance to catch the game lol

Me too. I only do the forum after dinner anyway. Got to limit myself.

Wests Tigers and Jaguars r the same team...prove me wrong

Their coach is an odd character. With a name like Urban Meyer nothing good can come of it. Apparently a real unhinged sort of bloke.

Can't re-install the Sleeper app to access NFL Fantasy site. Dunno what is the problem but it tells you nothing, just 'try again'.

@The_Patriot

Havent seen the highlights yet

But care to comment? ?

I only caught bits of the game. I'll watch the highlights tonight.

We always lose to the dolphins but my first thoughts are the the skill players like Meyers, Algolhor, Smith, Henry etc have not played anywhere near enough football together and Newton should have been punted earlier so Mac had time to build something with them

It will take time.

Love Winston and the Saints.

49ers off to a winning start, although Detroit are nothing to write home about. The yanks are loving Jordan Mailata's block on the Falcons resulting in a touch down.

Same old bengals story, with a different ending for a change. Just snuck home after building a big lead.
Saints were awesome, who knew Drew Brees was holding them back.

And congrats to Jordan Mailata, the big fella got paid.

I cannot believe the Bengals won that! I was watching the game and ticking off the script thinking here's the same old tragic horror show and then it was the bengals who came up with the big play turnover and game winning drive! What? Is that allowed?

I actually liked Taylor going for it on 4th down in the third quarter, it was brave and I reckon the players will back that. It ended up being the wrong call and let them back into the game but I still liked it. The play calling after that though was stifling, way too conservative and didn't give Burrow enough opportunity. I also liked the 4th down call in OT. All or nothing play but giving Burrow the chance.

I was mainly impressed by the Defense. Mike Hilton adds real edge to the team and our defensive line was a lot better. They fell away a bit but this team has done so much losing that that's just what is comfortable. Was really impressive seeing Bates' tackling too, a great pass defender but never seemed that strong as a tackler.

So much better than I expected. Even if they'd lost in the scripted way that I expected them to, I think they had playmakers and imposed themselves at times, and it's been five years since I've seen that.

Big negatives: offensive play calling and offensive line. It needs to improve for Burrow to stay out there.

Carolina Panthers fan here. Now that the Tigers season is over, I can invest my time to them every Monday morning. Couldn't care less about the results of the NRL now.

Good on Jordan Mailata as well. Pity he's not getting as much media here compared to Hayne or Holmes, even though he's become the most successful Aussie to make it in the NFL.

We were your biatches for a long time Pat .....we've won a few lately but we are even close to evening the score yet .....

Just watched Iggles highlights. Pocket seemed to collapse often but Hurtz looked comfortable and and showed good speed and evasiveness, slung some nice balls. Good to get a result against a solid team. Fly...

That game was terrible, there is a big problem in the NFL with officials & coverage for reviews not having enough camera angles if you are not one of the 4 prime games on Sunday. Congrats to the Bengals, Burrows still doesn’t look fully fit, I can’t believe the Vikings are leading the division. The clip below sums up the day for the Vikes. Skol
