What I liked about the Bengals was just everything. But mainly in defense whenever they made a tackle they stopped progress or drove them back. Over the past six years the defense makes contact and concedes at least another 2 yards. Our defensive line was also a threat all day and that makes a huge difference to every other position.

On offense, play calling was mostly okay until after the 1st drive in the second half. Taylor couldn't get us a first down after that and even called a timeout to prevent the steelers giving us a timeout. Once again, if he gets out of the way this team is good. The offensive line was great today, was nice to see Mixon actually get some space at times.

The main thing is that this team looks a competitive one.

gr8 post mate.

Watching highlights of the other games and the browns jersey and helmet is quality. Hate to compliment them and talk fashion but I really like the traditional look.

Lol. He looked about 100yo yesterday.
He makes watching Brady even more impressive, given he is 6 years older.

Pig can barely run anymore.

The defense were really swarming to the ball, all day, which is great to see. Getting a lot of qb hits too. Eli Apple doesn't give much confidence though in coverage. Hopefully he won't be starter much longer.

Logan Wilson had a wow of a game. Mixon looked dangerous on most carries. Good to see they are running the ball so Burrow doesn't have to carry the offense like last year. Online was solid, though no TJ Watt was a huge help.

Steelers were really bad today. And will be until they bite the Ben Roethlisberger sized bullet and get a new qb.

Logan Wilson is impressing me greatly, I really like him.

Sooooo gutted as a 9ers fan. To come back from 17-0 down and scoring the go ahead TD with a min to go only for Rodgers to manufacture a game winning FG drive with 37 secs on the clock. Tough tough loss to take.

That was a tough one. Could be worse though. Like a Detroit fan maybe?

And I was just thinking how it was good watching prevent defense actually work. Even with our best teams 6 years ago our interpretation of prevent defense was concede a whole lot of points really quickly and try to lose the game. Against Pitt they played it perfectly. Even if they'd got a touchdown on one of their second half drives they ate so much of the clock getting there and it just didn't look like they were any chance of breaking anything for a big play.

I wanted Taylor sacked last year and particularly hated retaining Anarumo but really enjoying watching a Defensive line be imposing. It was Pittsburgh who were hurting and looking out muscled for once.

Eli Apple is bad, but he's a back-up CB and it's hard to find quality CBs. CB play has been mostly excellent, really good coverage even on completions. Haven't missed WJIII yet.

Bengals fans real confident about beating Jacksonville, like all of a sudden we're a team who wins games. Feels very much like Tigers fans before a Bulldogs game. But there's so many issues here:

1. Game we're expected to win
2. Primetime
3. Injuries
4. Rookie QB (absolutely every rookie QB plays well against us)

I'm nervous and will take any sort of a win.

Of course we have a game at a decent time and for the 1st Friday in 3 months I have work lol. At least I'll be finished around 2 to watch it.

Well here is the funny thing

Its the exact same over here

Most jacksonville fans r predicting a win against u blokes lol

We have been improving each game, with obviously last game the big let-down was the intercept try and Lambos kicking form which ultimately cost us the win after cardinals ran over us in the 4th quarter

My biggest worry is offensive play calling. I can see Taylor going into his shell this game and his conservative play calling losing us the game.
