The NFL season starts very soon and along with my NBA I wanna know my NFL fan buddies out there in this forum, who's everyone supporting? Got a couple good questions for those interested, who's your prediction to win this season? Who do you think will be a surprise and do a lot better than expected? And who's your pick to be best player?

I'm a fan of 2 teams, I've been a Green Bay fan for years and I'm sticking with them not just as a fan but I feel they will get back to their form and win this season, I pick Aaron Rodgers to have a cracker season and I feel we can win this season, I'm also a SF 49s fan and their looking good, especially with their defense, if they pick the attack up then I can see them getting high up again.

My pick is Packers vs Patriots for then finals this season, I just can't see Patriots not owning the AFC again this season, I'm going with them to beat Steelers in the conference final and the Packers to beat Saints in NFL conference, but I think those 4 teams will be the top 4\. As for surprise team I'm tossing up between, Chicago, Dallas and Tennessee, I feel all 3 of them under achieved last season and they will pick it up like crazy and get to the finals, I'm also watching out for Detroit Lions, they are an amazing team who just can't quite figure it out but I can see them getting it together this season, it's gonna be close this season I reckon.

So who else is with me?

I'm a jets fan,
I'm tipping we do a lot better this season and make the AFC final at least.
I've got no real tip to see who wins,
I'm hoping last season was a blip for us.
I listen to every game live and watch the replay when it's on fox.

Hoping my Cowboys do a little better this season but the nfc east is like the amazon jungle. Pretty hard to navigate. Not to mention the Cowboys have come out again and said we're rebuilding this franchise.

The Jets SHOULD be up there again. Last season was dissapointing for them really and Tebow's signing hints a real lack of confidence in Sanchez, even if they don't admit it. I like what the Bears have done in the off season, the Giants still look strong too and after last season they deserve plenty of respect but they operate out of the tricky nfc east. Infact, the nfc as a whole looks real strong right now cause i haven't mentioned Green Bay or Atlanta or Philly or the 49's.

As for the afc, apart from the Jets, i think Pittsburgh, New England and Baltimore will still challenge, Denver with Manning, you just never know, might give some cheek. The afc though looks skinny for real contenders though. My tip would be Jets or Patriots vs Giants, 49's or as a smokey, Chicago.

I'm a huge Steelers fan and am excited about our chances because we had some great draft picks to stiffen up our offensive line which is what killed us and Rothlisburger last year. De Castro from Stanford was a huge pick at guard for us as he was probably the most sought after draft pick in this year's draft. Huge man with a ton of mobility will be the protection Rothlisburger has been lacking the last few years to work his magic.

In the AFC I see the big players being Pittsburgh, Ravens, Texans, Jets, Patriots and possibly the Broncos and in the NFC it'll be between the 49'ers, Packers, Saints, Giants and possibly the Cowboys.

I think whoever wins the AFC North between Pittsburgh and Baltimore will go a long way to win the AFC with the Patriots being the one who could come through as the AFC Champions. In the NFC, the North with Bears and the Packers and the East with Eagle, Cowboys and the Giants will be slogging it out in that conference. That conference will be the most entertaining with how close it will be and I'm thinking the winner will limp in the Superbowl limping as the NFC Champions

I'm predicting another Steelers vs Packers Superbowl and I'm also predicting Sanchez, Cutler and Romo to be the quarter backs under the most pressure this year. If they dont deliver for their respective teams, they'll be punted for sure.

YES SIR!!!! PHILLY ALL THE WAY!!!

Really worried how the death of Andy Reids son is going to affect the team this yr. Here's hoping they can turn it into a Hollywood movie type script. Americans really live off that kind of mentality

I guess I love the Jets because of the Brady Bunch episode when Bobby was sick & Joe Namith the famous Jets quarterback came to visit Bobby because Cindy wrote a letter that Bobby was terminally ill. Good episode that, Besides that I lived in the big apple. Rudy rules!!!! Welcome back Kotter.

I'm a jets fan because of Kevin Arnold from the wonder years. My Aunty came back from America as a kid with two hats a dolphins and a jets hat, she put them behind her back and I got the jets hat, so that sealed it.

I play more NCAA football on the PS3 rather than madden. I play as Notre Dame. But college football wise I just watch who ever is playing on espn.

@Chris, yeh I find the steelers are a hard team to predict, there a pretty inconsistent team at times but I wouldn't be surprised if there up there again, especially after the disappointing season last season with Big Bens injury, but as a Packers fan, I'm sorry to say I don't like the Steeler, along with the Giants there my most hated team, but holy hell I respect them, they have talent.

I heard about the Tebow signing and I reckon it won't do to much for NY yet, he really under performed at Denver and I think there gonna stick with Sanchez for a little while longer, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get up there, SAME AS THE COWBOYS!!! still have that cowboys soft spot, definitely a fave team of mine that I always want to win.

Which Manning did Denver get?

And for college, I'm an Orogen Ducks fan, just love the pace they set and how fast they are, amazing talent comes out of there

And from what i've heard so did Jan

Eagles fan

For those Aus based fans seriously subscribe to NFL Game Pass, covers pre season and all regular season games. Got it for the first time last season and so very worth the money.

Bit of a scare V the Steelers in todays pre season hit out with Vick banging his hand up in a fluky play but xrays and scans clear any real damage.

DRC has moved back to the outside CB slot and has hit real form through camp. He and Nnamdi have been pushing man coverage through camp

Eagles have real depth in DL this season, we started about a third string line and the pass rush was still amazing and effective. Harris looks like he may be the guy we have been looking for at SS.

Foles really impressed at QB today as well, outplayed Kafka comprehensively. Still a long way to go.

As for other threats it really is a very open year. Alot of big draft talents. RG3 looks the goods thus far and the Redskins could make a really true race in the East this season. Lions if they can hold their discipline and of course the Broncos, any team with Peyton guiding the ship is a huge threat.

Hate the Jets and Tebow will get shown up so I am happy all around on that deal.

Alot of the usual suspects will be there of course.

Bolters I would call the most likely to be Cardinals if the run with Skelton and sit down Kolb or the Bucs
