Have you looked at the ladder?
Besides We aren't playing Parra,
And a disinterested Saints

St George Illawarra 32 Cronulla 18… 😱pen_mouth:

If it was the same Saints that we played , it would have been 52-2 the Sharks way

I agree completely, in half a century I have never seen Saints play as feeble as that - except for Benji I wanted him to score and he deserved one.

Well that's a relief….I'll ring Flanno and tell him..

I'm glad that I was able to make you feel better, any time

I know who I'd choose!

So are we to assume you would prefer Littlejohn ahead of Brooks? after all…

>**Littlejohn** start **halfback**- defeated defending premiers.

There's alot of variables in everyone's comments here. One thing that stands out for me in this game is we need some strike right across the park. Especially since we're missing our no 1 weapon. So I think Taylor should have Farah off the bench too add some threat out of dummy half. Halatua has done a good job but has created diddly squat.
But the first thing we must do is win the battle up front.

But the fact remains that the halves have stepped up since Farah has been demoted. It's obviously working. A creative 9 has never been farahs go. A hog, a reasonable kicker, a defender, a run into marker searching for a penalty that's never gonna eventuate type of player - that's Farah. JT doesn't want that & Farah won't change = stay in Reggie's.

Yeah but do you seriously think Farah was overplaying himself in games he's played this year. And do you think our young halves thought they'd better pull their fingers out?
I think he's picked the right time to as you say hog the ball this season. At the end of the day we're going to be very predictable on Friday night and will probably lead to our downfall sadly.

I just don't get why we can't play Liddle. It's a joke.

Yeah, the NRL is backwards…its so screwed up.

An Origin player can go down a grade but we cannot promote a young up and comer to a higher grade

Insane

Farah's game hasn't changed at all really and his record of getting us into finals is poor. Whilst I understand his supporters desperately wanting him to play, I really don't see the benefit. After the way he spoke a few weeks ago, I personally hope he doesn't get another opportunity. His lack of professionalism was astounding to me. His willingness to basically bag the coach and hierarchy was appalling.

Yeah but it shouldn't come down to your dummy half as to whether we fight out for a finals berth. Right throughout his career he's hardly had a controlling 6 or 7 to help out. Apart from the 3 years of Prince and 3 of Loiu, makeshifts have been the go.
Its only been probably since rd 17 or 18 that our young halves have pulled their fingers out. But thru the games not only this season and also last Farah has been playing to the coaches plan.
Bottom line is He should still be in the team.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here. He should never have the privilege of playing firsts again after his bagging of coach and others to the media.
