No peanut policy v no premiership policy

Since wt have a no peanut policy hence fifita been given the green light to go, what are your opinions on the possibility of Dugan and carney signing? Both noted arrogant peanuts with carney having a terrible past could u fans over look the fact that bringing in potential dis harmony would most likely lead to us winning a premiership? Personally I'd live a team full of peanuts if it meant a couple premierships over a team of do gooders and no premierships

Ordinarily I would agree that the premiership policy is best and for that reason I would chase Dugan. Carney I have a personal relationship with and I hate his guts. Really wouldnt be able to support him.

We have a knack of cooling down hotheads. I have no probelms with Dugan and Carney - just as long as they come along with the right attitude.

We signed Utai who was a known hothead and thug in his day, and he has been a complete saint playing under us.

Daine Laurie, and Arana Taumata had no major disciplinary issues under the Wests Tigers Banner as far as I am aware either, yet they have both royally screwed their respective pooches at their new clubs.

I have a bad feeling Fifita may well do the same.

We have had players in the club that have had their issues; they were shown the door. it's a good policy.

Personal support can only go so far in any workplace and no doubt in each instance the appropriate process was followed by the club.

Just what we need another play maker, we need strike power, you can have all the play makers in the world but they are useless if their is no targets for them to aim at

I think having a look at the roosters this year is a an example of what happens when you dont have a no richard kranium policy. Yes they had a good year last year but now with the same players they are looking like wooden spooners. Also Souths are another example of what happens to a club with a bad culture. Look what happened to the Dogs and Roosters when Mason, etc were their and how it all went badly.

Is this enough examples. While we havent won every year either I think the really interesting stat I read while ago is that Broncos and Tigers were only teams not to have been in the bottom 4 in the last 5 or so years and this comes down to the policy of putting good people above short term talent and of allowing people to [edited by Mods] and get away with it

Also on a wider point to my above these kind of players lead to a worse culture so your young players don't become as good a players because of the influence around them. Also it effects crowds and sponsorships and that in the medium/ long term leads on to a less competitive club because they just don't have the money to compete

if we had them both theyd be a bad influence on one another. therefore seeing as we already have a 5/8 and we need a fb, id take dugan and not carney
